FIBER COMPOSITE WITH STITCHED STRUCTURAL IMAGE
A plurality of structural fibers are laid onto a substrate. The plurality of structural fibers are stitched together with a thread in a specified stitching pattern to form a composite preform. The thread in the specified stitching pattern secures the structural fibers to each other such that the structural fibers provide a tailored load path within the composite preform and presents a visible image on an outer surface of the composite preform.

Items formed using stitching equipment with adjustable-shape fixtures
An item may be formed from structures that include holes. Stitching may be used to form a seam that joins the structures. The stitching may be formed from a chain stitch that passes through the holes. The holes may be formed from loops of knit fabric or other holes. Leather layers, polymer layers, fabric layers, and other structures with holes may be joined using the stitching. During fabrication, a layer of material with holes may be placed on an adjustable-shape fixture having a bed of needles. The shape of the bed of nails in the adjustable-shape fixture may then be changed. After the fixture has been used to transform the shape of one or more of the structures, the structures may be placed on needles in an assembly fixture and the stitching between the structures may be formed. The item may be an electronic device cover or other item.

OUTER LAYER STRUCTURE OF A STUFFED OBJECT AND A SEWING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an outer layer structure of a stuffed object, comprising a first fabric component and a second fabric component fastened to each other substantially to form a container; a first stitching thread extended from a first end of an opening of the container to a second end of the opening so a first edge and a second edge of the container corresponds to each other and the opening is stitched and fastened by the first stitching thread, and thereby a first seam is formed at the opening; a second stitching thread extended from a first end of a third edge or a first end of a fourth edge of the first seam to a second end of a third edge or a second end of a fourth edge so the third edge and the fourth edge correspond and are fastened to each other to form a second seam. The present invention also provides a sewing method for a stuffed object with the outer layer structure.

GARMENT HAVING AN OVERLOCK STITCH AND THE RELATED PRODUCTION PROCESS
It is disclosed a garment (1) having an inner side (1a), and an outer side (1b) opposite to the inner side (1a), the garment (1) comprising one or more woven fabrics (2, 3), wherein at least two ends (2a, 3a) of different woven fabrics (2, 3) and/or two ends (2a, 3a) of the same woven fabric are seamed by means of one or more threads (4a) that form a stitch (4), wherein said stitch (4) is an overlock stitch (4) and it is arranged so that at least one of said thread (4a) is present on the inner side (1a) of the garment (1), and at least one of said thread (4a) is present on the outer side (1b) of the garment (1), the thickness (T1) of the stitch (4) on the inner side (1a) of the garment (1) is less than the thickness (T2) of the stitch (4) on the outer side (1b) of the garment (1).
Fabric with Flow Restricting Core
A stitched fabric including a barrier layer; a yarn stitched through and forming stitch holes in the barrier layer, and a coating. A melted portion of the barrier layer fills a portion of the stitch holes. The coating occupies interstitial spaces between individual strands of the yarn to prevent a liquid from passing from one side of the stitched fabric to another side of the stitched fabric via the yarn.
