METHOD FOR PROVIDING SEMI-FINISHED TUBULAR MANUFACTURED ARTICLES TO BE CLOSED BY STITCHING AT AN AXIAL END THEREOF FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SOCKS, AND SEMI-FINISHED TUBULAR MANUFACTURED ARTICLE OBTAINED WITH THE METHOD
A method for providing semi-finished tubular manufactured articles to be closed by stitching at an axial end thereof for the production of socks, comprising a step of providing the body of the tubular manufactured article and a step of providing an end portion of the tubular manufactured article which comprises: —a step of providing an intermediate band connected to the body of the manufactured article and thinner than the thickness at least of the rows of knitting of the body of the manufactured article which are connected to the intermediate band; —a step of providing an end edge thicker than the thickness of the intermediate band; the height of the intermediate band, proximate to the regions that constitute the lateral ends of the two flaps of the end portion to be overlapped in order to stitch the axial end to be closed of the tubular manufactured article, is lower than the height of the remaining part of the intermediate band.
INSULATED PANELING FOR ACTIVE SPORTS
An active-insulation paneling component and garments including an active-insulation paneling component. The active-insulation paneling component includes insulated panels separated by gussets. The gussets are configured to expand upon an outward pulling force to allow the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment to expand even where the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment are not manufactured from elastic materials.

Forming shapes with an embroidery machine
Described is a method for using an embroidery machine or sewing machine to form shapes in, and extract shapes from, a sheet of material. A needle-based machine uses its needle to generate a series of perforations to cut out or assist in the separation of the shapes. Stitching facilitates operation of the machine. Preferably, perforations are made with a computer-controlled machine using instructions generated from or available in an electronic file.
Insulated paneling for active sports
An active-insulation paneling component and garments including an active-insulation paneling component are disclosed. The active-insulation paneling component includes insulated panels separated by gussets. The gussets are configured to expand upon an outward pulling force to allow the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment to expand even where the active-insulation paneling component and/or garment are not manufactured from elastic materials.
Pillow template system and method of use
A pillow template system having at least one pillow template which is preferably made of a transparent or semi-transparent material which can be overlaid onto a piece of fabric and can quickly and easily be aligned on the fabric such that any patterns on the fabric are aligned in a desirable way. The template is a frame having an inner edge and an outer edge, with the width of the frame between the inner and outer edges providing a preferable seam allowance. In a preferred embodiment the frame can be nested into a stack with one or more additional frames. The size and shape of the pillow can vary based upon a selected one of the nested frames.
Fabric clamp adapted to pass under presser foot of sewing machine
A fabric clamp that passes under the presser foot of a sewing machine is provided. The clamp has a loop of resilient strip folded over upon itself, an upper slotted lever, and a lower slotted lever. The resilient strip has an upper portion, the terminus of which defines an upper planar jaw, and a generally planar lower portion, the terminus of which defines a lower planar tongue, joined by a curvilinear central portion. The upper portion of the resilient strip passes through the upper lever. The lower portion of the resilient strip passes through the lower lever. The total transverse width of the portions of the tongue is no more than about 12 mm. The curvilinear portion urges the jaw and tongue together. When the upper jaw and the tongue are adjacent and the levers are urged together, the jaw and the tongue are displaced from adjacent deployment.
Method for providing semi-finished tubular manufactured articles to be closed by stitching at an axial end thereof for the production of socks, and semi-finished tubular manufactured article obtained with the method

Hooping station
A hooping station for an embroidery machine, that includes a base configured to receive a garment. A plurality of tracks are formed in the base and a plurality of bumpers are configured to fit within the tracks. At least a first bumper is configured to engage the first track the predetermined position. A light source is configured to form a light mark that is in a predetermined location relative to the first bumper.
Sewing machine
A sewing machine includes a sewing portion, a processor, and a memory. The sewing portion is configured to sew a pattern on a sewing object. The memory storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform the processes. The processes include the acquiring reference data representing a relative positional relationship between a sewing position and an arrangement position. The sewing position is a position of the pattern sewn on the sewing object by the sewing portion. The arrangement position is a position of a decorative component arranged on the sewing object. The processes include displaying, on the basis of the acquired reference data, a mark that indicates the arrangement position corresponding to the sewing position.
