This disclosure generally relates to a hammock strap. The hammock strap includes an elongated length of strap material that is separated into a first strap and a second strap. The first strap and the second strap are woven together at one or more separation points to form eyelets between the first strap and the second strap.

A 3-D honeycomb textile can include a textured yarn. The textile can exhibit a heat-shrinkage rate from about 10% to about 60%. The textile can be configured to reversibly change its dimensions under application of stress. Prosthetic valves can have the disclosed textiles as a sealing member. Additionally, prosthetic valves can the disclosed textiles as cushion materials. In addition, methods of making the disclosed textiles and prosthetic valves are described.

Rip-stop pants include waist and leg portions formed of ripstop fabric having synthetic mechanical-stretch filament yarns interwoven into spun, staple yarns in a ripstop pattern.

A substrate is mountable on a lacrosse stick head to form a pocket. The head has a throat attached to a shaft, a ball stop attached to the throat, a scoop distal to the throat, and sidewalls extending between the ball stop and the scoop. Provided is a colored polypropylene resin composition, which is excellent in high color developability, washing resistance, and sublimation resistance, and can be stably supplied. Woven UHMWPE fabric stretches in the bias direction to such an extent that it is unsuitable for many potential applications and is porous, allowing air and water transmission. A composite UHMWPE material includes a single ply of high tenacity woven UHMWPE fabric having warp fibers in a first direction and weft fibers in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The UHMWPE fabric has first face and a second face. A stretch resisting axially oriented fusion layer is fused to at least one of the first face or the second face of the UHMWPE fabric with an axis aligned parallel to at least one of the UHMWPE fabric warp and weft axes, such that the stretch resisting fusion layer increases fabric tensile strength and inhibits bias stretch of the UHMWPE fabric, and renders the UHMWPE woven fabric air and water impermeable.

Methods for fabricating a 3D braided material and exemplary 3D braided material for sporting implements are disclosed. The exemplary braids can be incorporated into any sporting implements, such as, baseball bats, lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks, rackets, helmets, and other protective equipment. The example sporting implement can be constructed, partially or entirely, with a braided three dimensional structure. The 3D braided material can be a multi-directional layup having tows oriented in three directions (X, Y and Z) and also at any angle created by the combination of two or three directions. A single woven preform can be formed that can have a near net shape of the formed product, with the fibers oriented in a way that will be optimal for the particular application.

The anti-slip yoga rug also comprising a topside grip, the topside grip including an anti-slip ridge woven into the fabric weave, and a bottom-side grip. An apparatus and method for masking or reducing undesired scents emanating from hunting and military gear, the method including providing a hand-held, cordless steamer having a reservoir, a boiler, a gas combustion device and a gas cartridge, adding a liquid cover scent preparation or a liquid scent reducing preparation to the reservoir, pumping the cover scent preparation or the scent reducing preparation from the reservoir to the boiler, using the gas combustion device to ignite and combust a gas delivered from the source of gas thereby creating heat which is used to convert the liquid in the boiler into a steam, and applying the steam directly to a piece of hunting or military gear.
