There is provided a fiber body manufacturing apparatus including: an accumulating section that forms a web by accumulating a material containing fibers on a first transport belt by a dry method; a transport section that transports the web by peeling off a first surface of the web from the first transport belt, and by bringing a second surface of the web, which is a surface opposite to the first surface peeled off from the first transport belt, into contact with a second transport belt; a water-applying section that applies water toward the first surface of the web in a state where the web is in contact with the second transport belt; and a pressurizing section that pressurizes the web to which the water is applied and which is peeled off from the second transport belt.

The invention relates to a paper making machine (1) comprising a forming section (2) in which a fibrous web (W) can be formed, a drying section (5) in which a formed fibrous web (W) can be dried; and a reel-up (11) on which a dried fibrous web (W) can be wound into a roll (12). The paper making machine (1) is arranged to carry a fibrous web (W) in the machine direction (MD) along a predetermined path (P) and the paper making machine (1) has at least one water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) arranged to cut the fibrous web (W) that is moving in the machine direction (MD) such that the fibrous web (W) is divided into at least one waste part (23a, 23b, 30) and a remaining part (24, 29). The paper making machine (1) is arranged to direct the at least one waste part (23a, 23b, 30) away from the predetermined path (P) and to convey the remaining part (24, 29) further in the machine direction (MD) along the predetermined path (P). The paper making machine (1) further comprises a blowing device (20, 21, 22) arranged to blow gas or air against the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) in a direction toward the remaining part of the fibrous web (24, 29) such that fiber particles that have been released by the cutting action of the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) are blown onto the surface (25) of the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web (W) and follow the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web along the predetermined path (P). The invention also relates to a method in which gas or air is blown in a direction toward the remaining part of the web such that fiber particles that have been released by the cutting action of the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) are blown onto the surface (25) of the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web (W). The stream of air or gas is given a shape which is circular cylindrical or conical and expanding in the direction in which the stream moves.

A sheet manufacturing apparatus including an accumulating unit that causes a defibrated product to accumulate in a dry manner and forms a web, a moisture adding unit that adds moisture from a side of one surface of the formed web such that a moisture content of the web is equal to or more than 12 mass % and equal to or less than 40 mass %, and a heating unit that heats the web to which moisture is added. The heating unit has a first portion that comes in contact with the one surface of the web and a second portion that comes in contact with another surface of the web, and the heating unit heats the web in a state of a surface temperature of the first portion being higher than a surface temperature of the second portion.

A belt installation device for installing a belt onto a paper machine, pulp machine or board machine, has a first area (4) with an attaching point (5) for attaching the belt installation device to a pulling member, a second area (6) with at least one aperture (7, 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) for fastening the belt installation device (1) removably to a belt, and a central area (8) between the first area (4) and the second area (6), wherein a pull strength of the attaching point is at least 300 kgf and equal or less than 900 kgf. The belt installation device is bendable between a straight form and a curved form having a radius of curvature of 800 mm. This invention further relates to an installation arrangement and installing method for installing a belt onto a paper, pulp or board machine.
PAPER-SPECIFIC MOISTURE CONTROL IN A TRAVELING PAPER WEB
A network-based system and method for providing desired moisture set point values for individual papers lines based on the physical properties of each liner and the atmospheric conditions associated with a corrugator is disclosed. The desired moisture set point values are based on the hygroexpansivity of each individual paper liner. Once the moisture set point value has been determined, a conditioning apparatus adjusts a moisture value for each liner in order to tune the post-warp characteristics of the final corrugated product.
