Methods and systems for supplying water to an aircraft

There are described methods and systems for supplying water to an aircraft. A water supply assembly is fluidly coupled to a water storage tank via a supply line. An overflow line is fluidly coupled to the water supply assembly. One or more sensors are configured to determine an amount of water in the water storage tank. One or more processors are communicative with the one or more sensors and configured to: determine a desired amount of water to be contained in the water storage tank; determine from the one or more sensors that an amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water; and, in response to determining that the amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water, transmit an instruction for causing water being supplied from the water supply assembly to the water storage tank to be diverted to the overflow line.

Refrigerator water supply system
RE049314 · 2022-11-29 · ·

A refrigerator has a storage chamber opened and closed by a door and a water supply system to supply water to a water taking port disposed at the door. The water supply system includes a water tank and a plurality of connecting pipes. The water tank includes an elongated cylindrical shaped body and a cap configured to form a reservoir such that a section of the cap overlaps the body, a first port having a passageway integral with the elongated cylindrical shaped body, and a second port integral with the cap, the second port being aligned in a direction different from a longitudinal axis of the water tank. The connecting pipes include a first water line positioned in an opening of the first port in a direction different from the longitudinal axis of the water tank, and a second water line positioned in an opening of the second port.

Spring-loaded float tree and float tree assembly

A float tree for suspending floats within a basin system includes a rod portion, a cap section, movably affixed to the rod portion, and a spring provided between the cap section and the rod section. The spring provides force against the rod portion and the cap section. A first and second cap can be included to seat the spring between the cap section and the rod portion within the float tree.

Submersible water circulation system for enclosed tanks

A submersible, water circulation system for enclosed tanks such as used by municipalities, fire districts, and industries. The system includes a driving unit having a shell extending along an axis with a pump supported within the shell. The shell has at least one inlet and at least one outlet and is positionable on the floor of the tank with the outlet facing upwardly. The upwardly facing outlet is preferably a thin, upwardly facing, elongated slot and creates a thin, substantially planar discharge of water therethrough that is directed upwardly toward the surface of the body of water. The substantially planar discharge presents a very large surface area for its volume and induces water adjacent the outside of the shell of the driving unit to move upwardly with it toward the surface of the body of water.

A system and method for a constituent rendering of biomass and other carbon-based materials is provided. The system can be configured for receiving a feedstock material to be rendered into its constituent components, grinding the feedstock to a desired size and/or consistency, and placing the feedstock in contact with a hot mix heat transfer medium within a pressure chamber. Pyrolysis of the feedstock can lead to a breakdown of the feedstock into constituent components that can then be collected.

Liquid container and device for adjusting the liquid phase of a cooling circuit of a heat engine having such a container built-in

A liquid container including: at least two compartments (2; 3) which are each provided with a fluid inlet and outlet and which are connectable to a fluid flow circuit, respectively, at least one communication area (4) between the compartments (2; 3), at least one opening (5) for filling the container, at least one plug (6) for closing the opening (5) for filling the container, the opening (5) for filling the container is an opening common to the compartments (2, 3) and the container further includes at least one member (7) for closing the communication area (4) between the compartments (2, 3), the closing member being movably mounted between an open position of the area and a closed position of the area, the closing member being in a closed position of the area in a closed position of the filling opening plug.

Multifunctional submersible pump

The present invention provides a multifunctional submersible pump, which provides multiple functional selections suitable for various types of aquariums, including water circulation and filtering, pumping out wastewater, oxygenation, and carbon dioxide refining. The bottom portion of the submersible pump is provided with a water inlet, a water outlet, a wastewater drain outlet, and an adjustment knob. Left and right rotation of the adjustment knob enables water circulation and filtering or pumping out wastewater, as well as enabling adjusting the amount of water flow. One side of the top portion of the submersible pump is fitted with a retainer ring, which enables disposing an aquarium lamp therein. Another function of the present invention lies in the design of the simple assembly method of the CO.sub.2 refiner, whereby the refiner can be easily disassembled for cleaning when a ceramic refining disk placed inside the refiner is obstructed by pollutants.
