FILTRATION ASSEMBLY FOR REDUCING MALAODORS IN AIR AND AEROSOLIZED WASTE FROM TOILETS
An assembly for filtering toilet bowl odors including first and second housings respectively disposed in spaced relation to and in fluid communication with the toilet bowl. A conduit connects interiors of the first and second housings in fluid communication with one another. A fan assembly is mounted within said first housing in fluid communicating relation with the second housing, via the conduit, and is disposed and structured to define a path of fluid flow extending from an inlet of said second housing, through said conduit and a filter assembly, disposed in the first housing and/or second housing, to the exterior of said first housing, concurrent to activation of the fan assembly.
Sterilizing Device and Method for a Toilet
Sterilizing device for a toilet that includes an ozone generator and an impelling device fluidically connected to the ozone generator that allows discharging the ozone generated into the flush water of the toilet. A controller controls generating the ozone and discharging the ozone into the flush water. A sensor detects the presence or the actuation of a user, the sensor being communicated with the controller. The controller controls the ozone generator depending on a signal received from the sensor. The sterilizing device also includes an ion plasma generator for discharging ion plasma directly into the air adjacent the toilet. The ion plasma generator being controlled by the controller.
Antimicrobial Self-Cleaning Toilet
A toilet comprising a rinsing seat, a rimless bowl, and a helical loop trapway is disclosed. An annular cavity for the purpose of storing and dispensing rinse water from the rinsing seat is disclosed. Outlet nozzles arranged about the circumference of the rinsing seat and designed to dispense rinse water at the rimless bowl are disclosed. Rinsing seat supports, hinge assemblies, and seat sensors which offer additional functionality to the rinsing seat are also disclosed. The toilet includes a steep interior surface with a titanium dioxide coating and actuatable ultraviolet light sources. The titanium dioxide has antimicrobial properties in the presence of ultraviolet light to sanitize the toilet. The ultraviolet light source is actuatable to control when the antimicrobial properties of the titanium dioxide coating are activated. The exterior of the toilet is coated with doped titanium dioxide which is antimicrobial in the presence of visible light.
Splash Shield for Toilet Plunger or Brush
