System and method for sealing an annular space of a sewer connection line
A system and method for reducing the amount of infiltrate entering a sewer system is provided. The system generally comprises a locking sleeve, hydrophilic gasket, and a locking mechanism, wherein a lateral porthole of said locking sleeve is surrounded by said hydrophilic gasket. The system is preferably installed at a lateral line connection point, wherein a hydrophilic gasket located around the lateral porthole creates the water barrier that prevents infiltrate from entering a newly refurbished host pipe through the hole cut to reestablish flow from the lateral line to the host pipe at the lateral line connection point.
DRAINAGE PIPE NETWORK DESIGN
A method, system, apparatus, and computer program product provide the ability to design a drainage pipe solution. A profile of a surface segment (that includes a surface slope) is acquired. A first pipe size and a first pipe slope or calculated based on a proper velocity. A second pipe size and a second pipe slope are calculated based on the surface slope. A first pipe covering and a second pipe covering for the first pipe size and the second pipe size, for the surface segment is computed. A lower of the first pipe covering and the second pipe covering is selected as the drainage pipe solution.
Monitoring system and its method
A monitoring system includes a plurality of sensor terminals installed for a target to be measured, a base station wirelessly communicating with the sensor terminals, and a calculator communicable with the base station. The sensor terminal includes a sensor element which acquires vibration information of a target to be measured, an arithmetic unit which performs an arithmetic operation for data including the vibration information of the sensor element, and a wireless communication unit. The arithmetic unit performs a reduction process for reducing an amount of data of the sensor element. The wireless communication unit transmits data processed by the arithmetic unit to the base station. After the transmitted data is received, the base station transmits it to the calculator. The calculator includes a signal processing unit. The signal processing unit complements the reduction-processed data to acquire vibration information, and averages the vibration information for a predetermined period of time.
Culvert to ditch transitioning device
A culvert to ditch transitioning device for lining a ditch proximate to an end of a culvert includes an end panel, which has an orifice positioned therein, and a pair of side panels. A terminal segment of the culvert, which extends into the ditch, can be inserted through the orifice so that a first face of the end panel is in substantial abutment with an end embankment of the ditch. Each side panel is coupled to a respective opposed end of the end panel and extends substantially perpendicularly therefrom. The pair of the side panels lines side embankments of the ditch, proximate to the end embankment. The end embankment and the lined portions of the side embankments thus no longer require lawn care, such as mowing, trimming, and weeding.
System for drainage of surface water
System for drainage of surface water, the system comprises a number of tanks being connected to a main pipeline leading water to a recipient. Each tank has at least one outlet for leading water from the tank to the main pipeline, and a corresponding lid, the lid is limiting the outlet until the water is at a predetermined level in the tank. The system further comprises a check valve arranged downstream of the outlet of each tank, preventing water from entering the tank from the main pipeline, and at least one air bleeder valve and at least one siphonic drainage regulator arranged between a tank and the recipient.

BLOCKAGE DETECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for detecting the presence or formation of a blockage in a sewer system using a machine learning (ML) model. The ML model may be trained using a supervised learning method; and may be used to analyze various inputs from a sewer system to automatically sense developing sewer blockages. The systems and techniques described herein may also indicate the type of blockage that is forming, such as silt accumulation; sediment buildup; ragging; root intrusion; fats, oils, and grease (FOG), etc.) prior to a full blockage to allow preventative cleaning operations.

Method and apparatus to implement a managed distributed wastewater process
The method of the managed sewer is a Netcentric distributed process that is managed in real-time and implemented through several apparatuses that enable the low capital cost and low installation cost of a smaller diameter pipe (smaller than typically used in gravity flow systems). The apparatuses enable the method of managing the grinding, pumping and staging processes to optimize the effectiveness of the collection process through the small pipe and increase system efficacy by using the pumping and transport action of the material in the pipe as part of the process activity.
