Method and apparatus for suspending a package in an elevated position
One embodiment provides a method and apparatus for suspending air conditioning duct works from a support structure comprising unistrut type support beams which apparatus includes a plurality of support brackets arranged and configured for being slidably interlockable with the interior of the unistrut beam members. The support brackets can be slid inside the interior of the support beam until adjacent a support beam which support beam can be connected to the support bracket. In like manner additional support brackets can be inserted into the interior of the support beam members to be adjustably located next to their respective support rod. In such manner multiple support rods can be used to support a frame member even where the support rods are not symmetrically located along the length of the support beam as the support bracket can be slid/moved inside the support beam until lining up with its respective support rod. Additionally, the entire support framework can be moved relative to the plurality of support rods by sliding the framework relative to the support brackets. In such manner the location of the supporting frame member can be changed without moving the support rods.
Wooden module
A wooden module may include four cross-sectionally square longitudinal pieces of timber, at least six cross-sectionally square transverse pieces of timber, and at least two cross-sectionally square plugs, which may be connected to one another via a plurality of connection plugs. The four longitudinal pieces of timber may be arranged parallel to and spaced apart from one another such that the four longitudinal pieces of timber span a square. The at least six transverse pieces of timber may be arranged over a length of the four longitudinal pieces of timber and may be arranged between the four longitudinal pieces of timber. The at least two plugs may be arranged vertically parallel to one another and to at least four vertical transverse pieces of timber on at least two horizontal transverse pieces of timber and may project from a lateral face of the wooden module.

MOUNTING HARDWARE AND MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR VERTICAL PANELS
A mounting clip and a system for mounting a vertical panel from a support member suspended from a ceiling. The mounting clip has a panel mounting section, a support member receiving portion, and a movable mounting section. The support member receiving portion extends from the panel mounting section. The movable mounting section can be rotated relative to the support member receiving portion to secure the mounting clip to the support member.
ACOUSTIC SYSTEMS FOR LIGHTING IN SUSPENDED CEILINGS
An acoustic housing, a light fixture, a suspended ceiling system, and a method of decreasing sound transfer from a light fixture in a suspended ceiling are disclosed. An acoustic hood for a light fixture in a suspended ceiling may include a partially enclosed space formed between a plurality of wall portions. A light fixture may include first and second layers that are coupled to one another and form a partially enclosed space. A suspended ceiling system may include the acoustic hood or light fixture. The method relates to disposing an acoustic housing spaced from the light fixture.
Modifiable and reusable modular soundproofing structures
A soundproofing structure comprises a jacket having an external surface and an opposite internal surface defining an inner compartment. A resilient and deformable soundproofing material is contained within the Inner compartment and engages the internal surface. Constricting elements are mounted to the jacket for constriction of the jacket to provide inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for compression thereof. The constricting elements are releasable for selectively releasing inner surface pressure against the soundproofing material for expansion thereof against the inner surface. The soundproofing structure defines a size that is selectively modifiable by selective releasing of the contacting elements.
METHOD OF ATTACHING A LOAD TO METAL DECKING
A method of using a hanger for supporting a load from an underside of a metal decking is described. The metal decking has a trough with a first groove opposing a second groove, and the hanger includes a flexible body which has an unflexed length that is greater than the groove spacing and is adapted to accept a load from a rod, cable, or wire. The method includes inserting the load support assembly through the aperture; contacting the first end of the body with the first groove of the metal decking; flexing the body to decrease the distance between the first end and the second end to a distance equal to or less than the groove spacing; and contacting the second end of the flexible body with the second groove of the metal decking. The body supports the load support assembly between the first groove and the second groove, and such that the load support assembly is movable relative to the flexible body.
Systems and methods for constructing noise reducing surfaces
Systems and methods are disclosed for a multi-layered sound absorption structure. The multi-layered sound absorption structure may include a form material, an acoustic material disposed on a surface of the form material, and a construction material disposed on the acoustic material. The acoustic material may couple to the construction material during curing of the construction material. After the construction material is cured, the form material may be removed exposing a least a portion of the acoustic material.
Lift anchor for precast concrete component
A precast concrete component is provided with anchor having a cylindrical rod bent to form a centrally-positioned handle and two downwardly extending legs. The handle can be relatively smooth and die legs are provided with a series of projections along their lengths, such as are formed by threads. The legs of the anchor may converge inwardly from the handle and are compatible with precast concrete double tees having webs or stems that taper from the flange of the double tee downward. Alternatively, the legs of the anchor may diverge outwardly from the handle.
Modular dynamic acoustic ceiling panel
A modular dynamic acoustic system for use in connection with an indoor environment includes a movable panel array, a support structure, and a plurality of suspension members. The movable panel array includes a plurality of panel members, each of which including a body defining at least one edge, at least one hinge positioned along the at least one edge, and at least one mounting structure. The panel members are operably coupled with at least one adjacent panel member via the at least one hinge. Each of the plurality of suspension members is operably coupled with the support structure and the at least one mounting structure of one of the plurality of panel members to secure the movable panel array to the support structure. Each of the suspension members is movable to modify a configuration of the movable panel array.
