Locking mechanism for fall protection
A flip door assembly includes a flip door and an interlock that controls whether the flip door may be opened. A worker safety system in one embodiment includes a work stand, a safety barrier, and a flip door assembly. The flip door assembly selectively engages with a keyed portion of the safety barrier to prevent access to a defined area by a worker. The flip door assembly includes a flip door having a top surface that is substantially planar to a top surface of the work stand when closed, and substantially non-planar to the top surface of the work stand when open. The flip door assembly further includes an interlock that prevents the flip door from opening when the keyed portion of the safety barrier is disengaged from the interlock, and allows the flip door to open when the keyed portion of the safety barrier is engaged with the interlock.

Scaffold Safety Assembly
A scaffold safety assembly for facilitating a worker to service a scaffold includes a scaffold that has a frame comprising a leg portion. A step unit is removably attachable to the leg portion of the frame of the scaffold to facilitate a worker to stand on the step unit. The step unit extends laterally away from the leg portion when the step unit is removably attached to the leg portion. In this way the gate facilitates the worker to access various areas of the scaffold without standing on the scaffold. A gate is removably attachable to the leg portion of the frame of the scaffold. Additionally, the gate is positionable adjacent to the platform to inhibit the worker from falling off of the platform.
Fruit harvester platform
A mobile picking platform system includes a mobile picking platform having a mobile carriage with a superstructure supporting multiple adjustable picking stations. A storage box carrier on the mobile picking platform has a pick position with storage boxes held at optimum heights for access by pickers on the picking stations, an unload position in which full storage boxes are unloaded onto a ground surface, and a load position for receiving empty storage boxes. A storage unit carries empty storage boxes and facilitates transfer of storage boxes to the mobile picking platform. A shuttle trailer may also be included in the system to transfer empty storage boxes to the mobile picking platform and storage unit. The shuttle trailer has a down position in which full storage boxes may be picked up from a ground surface, and an up position for transferring storage boxes to the storage unit or mobile picking platform.
Flip door-to-guardrail
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable platforms and/or guardrails. An example system includes a bracket configured to be coupled to a fixed structure having a walking surface. The system also includes a flip door portion rotatably coupled to the bracket and a guardrail portion rotatably coupled to the flip door portion. The system includes a linkage further coupling the flip door portion to the guardrail portion. The system yet further includes an actuator configured to controllably adjust a configuration of the flip door portion, the linkage, and the guardrail portion between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration with respect to the walking surface.
Work platform
A work platform includes a frame and a deck. The frame has a plurality of frame members that are interconnected. The frame members define a trough that extends a length of the frame and is configured to accommodate a refueling boom of an aircraft such that the refueling boom extends through the frame within the trough. The deck is mounted to the frame to provide a stand. The deck includes a first deck panel and a second deck panel spaced apart from each other to define an opening to the trough.
