The imaging apparatus (100) includes an imaging evaluation map acquiring section (101) that acquires an imaging evaluation map, and an imaging point selecting section (102) that selects an imaging point suitable for imaging an object and an imaging condition at the imaging point on the basis of the acquired imaging evaluation map. In the imaging evaluation map, an evaluation value that represents an evaluation of imaging in a case where an object is imaged at a specific position under a specific imaging condition is set at a plurality of imaging candidate positions for each of a plurality of imaging conditions.

The processor is configured to perform a development process to perform development of the three-dimensional model into a two-dimensional image, an extraction process to extract defect information of the building on the basis of the plurality of images, a mapping process to perform mapping of the defect information to the two-dimensional image, and an output process to output the two-dimensional image to which the mapping is performed.
Robotic cleaning apparatus and system
A robotic device for working on a surface includes a body including: a tool for working on the surface; a controller moving the body along the surface; a first set of at least two rotors mounted to the body and generating thrust in a first direction towards the surface; and a second set of at least two rotors mounted to the body and generating thrust in a second direction away from the surface. A sensor measures a distance between the body and the surface, and a computer adjusts the first set of rotors and the second set of rotors in response to the sensor to place the body in position to work on the surface. In particular, the first set of rotors and the second set of rotors generate a net force on the body to it in non-contact position to work on the surface.

A coordinate space setting section (31) that sets a coordinate space including an object, an imaging candidate position setting section (32) that sets a plurality of imaging candidate positions in the coordinate space, an imaging condition setting section that sets an imaging condition for the object (33), a characteristic part setting section (34) that sets a plurality of characteristic parts for the object, an evaluation standard setting section (35) that sets an evaluation standard for imaging based on the imaging candidate position and the imaging condition for each characteristic part, an evaluation value calculating section (36) that calculates an evaluation value that represents an evaluation of imaging in a case where an object is imaged under the imaging condition set by the imaging condition setting section (33) at the imaging candidate positions set by the imaging candidate position setting section (32) for each imaging candidate position, and an imaging evaluation map generating section (37) that generates an imaging evaluation map in which the evaluation value is determined for each imaging candidate position are provided. In a case where the evaluation value for each imaging candidate position is calculated, the evaluation value calculating section (36) calculates individual evaluation values for the respective characteristic parts according to the evaluation standard, and calculates a sum of the obtained individual evaluation values for the respective characteristic parts as the evaluation value.
Vertical joint system and associated surface covering system
A vertical joint system for substrates is formed with joints and which engaged by relative motion in a direction perpendicular to major surfaces and of the substrate. The joints are configured to enable relative rotation of up to 3 degrees while maintaining engagement of the joints. The joints and are further configured to form two locking planes one on each of the inner and outer most sides of the joint. Engagement about the locking planes is provided by transverse outward extending surfaces. At least one surface in each pair of engaging surfaces is smoothly curved. The joints and can be further arranged to provide a third locking plane parallel to and between the locking planes. The joints are disengaged by combination of a downward rotation of one joint relative the other then application of a downward force.
Floor preparation tool
A tool that attaches to an underside of a rotating floor stripper machine that includes a plurality of bracket assemblies that each contain a blade assembly. The blades are equally spaced around segments of the underside of the plate. The cutting angle of each blade is selected to have a specific angle of incidence and each blade is configured askew from the radial line of the plate. Each blade assembly further includes a suspension to absorb imbalance caused by interaction with irregular surfaces during operation to greatly smooth out the machine and improve control. Alternate forms of cutting blades are provided to remove different materials and cause smoother or coarser cuts.
