PARKING LOT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, PARKING LOT MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, PARKING LOT MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A parking lot management system according to the present disclosure includes a management apparatus, an image capturing apparatus, a cart, and a display apparatus. The management apparatus acquires, and stores as parking information, a license plate number and a spot number of a parking spot from the image capturing apparatus. Then, the management apparatus acquires, from a cart terminal of the cart, information that enables specification of the parking information of a vehicle of a customer using the cart and an identification number of the cart terminal, and stores the identification number of the cart terminal in association with the parking information. Then, the management apparatus detects return of the cart to a predetermined location, calculates a predicted time until the parking spot is freed up, and updates display on the display apparatus based on the predicted time.
PARKING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, MANAGEMENT DEVICE, PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE, PARKING ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE TANGIBLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PARKING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
A parking assistance system for assisting parking of a vehicle includes: an autonomous driving vehicle configured to perform automatic driving from a drop off area in a parking lot to a parking position upon receiving a parking start instruction; a management device configured to manage entering and exiting of the autonomous driving vehicle; and a fixed terminal device installed in the drop off area, the fixed terminal device being operable by a user of the autonomous driving vehicle. The management device includes an intention acquiring unit configured to acquire a parking intention input by the user; an inspection executing unit configured to execute an inspection on the autonomous driving vehicle; an operation requesting unit configured to request the user to perform a predetermined operation through the fixed terminal device; and an instruction transmitting unit configured to transmit the parking start instruction to the autonomous driving vehicle.
Play center
A play center including a number of frames secured to each other to at least partially define substantially vertical walls of the outdoor play center, each frame having two or more openings, and a number of panels, each panel having a body thereof, the panels being receivable in selected ones of the openings. Each of the openings is partially defined by one or more elongate side walls of each frame. Each panel includes one or more flanges extending from the body over at least a receiving portion of the side wall. The play center also includes a number of fasteners for fastening the flanges to the receiving portions.
Multistory residential building with elevator served upper corridor
A mid-rise residential building with a garage section, a lower section disposed above the garage section, and an upper section disposed above the lower section is disclosed. The upper section includes a corridor that traverses the building, but the lower section does not include such a corridor. The garage section includes a plurality of private garages. The lower section includes at least a pair of multistory dwelling units, where each unit has a through unit floor plan and each unit provides direct access to a respective private garage. The upper section includes a corridor. The upper section also includes a single story dwelling unit that is primarily accessible from the corridor; and at least two multistory dwelling units that have respective entranceways disposed laterally across the corridor from the single story dwelling unit. Each of the multistory dwelling units has a second floor with portions directly above the corridor and the single story dwelling unit. An elevator serves the corridor of the upper section, but it bypasses the lower section.

Bicycle storage facilities and and computer-based control of access thereto
A system for computer-based bicycle storage control provides reserving storage compartments of varied volumes in a bicycle storage container based on dimensional specifications of the bicycle to be stored, and the storage volume of the storage compartment. The storage container interior chamber has a turntable with a rotatable platform to align compartments with the container door, which has an adjustable door width to allow a bicycle access into and out of the compartment but limit or prevent access to compartments adjacent to the accessed compartment when the door is aligned with the selected compartment.
Hard-Shell Motorcycle Cover Assembly
A hard-shell motorcycle cover assembly includes a floor panel that is positionable on a support surface thereby facilitating a motorcycle to be rolled onto the floor panel. The floor panel is longitudinally elongated to accommodate a full length of the motorcycle. A shell is divided into a rear portion that is hingedly coupled to a front portion. The rear portion is positionable in an open position to facilitate the motorcycle to be driven onto the floor panel. Additionally, the rear portion is positionable in a closed position to enclose, and protect, the motorcycle on the floor panel. A biasing unit is coupled between the rear portion and the front portion for biasing the rear portion into the open position.
CEILING PLATE
A roadway coverplate for an assembly of an inductive charging device for inductively charging a motor vehicle, may include a main body and a cover. The main body may have an upper side for parking a motor vehicle and a lower side facing away from the upper side. The main body, on the lower side, may include a depression configured to receive the assembly. The cover may cover the depression and may, outside the depression, bear on a bearing portion of the lower side. The cover may be coupled in a force-fitting manner to the lower side in the bearing portion and may be configured to conjointly support a load acting on the upper side.
