Hinge device for opening and closing a vehicle door
The hinge device performs the opening and closing of a door of a vehicle without the door changing orientation. The device has an L-shaped arm provided with two ends attached in a pivotable way, around parallel rotation axes, to respective mounting bodies, one being fixable to the door and the other to the frame of the vehicle. Each body has a concentric pulley body with the respective rotation axis and fixed to a respective mounting body. The device further has a linking mechanism that extends along the arm and has a path formed by a first segment and a second segment that cross at least once.
Ligature safe door
The safe door is a releasable door comprising a fire resistant body attached to a door jamb to provide privacy. Safe door comprises a frame less door panel attached to a door jamb by magnets engineered to release when a breakaway force is applied to the door in any direction. Safe door is assembled with welding and adhesive of a foam core, a fire sock and a protective sheet inside a cover of vinyl sheeting. The fire sock and cover are closed to prevent moisture penetration or disassembly to protect people and property. A handle on a handle side and a hinge on a hinge side attach where a traditional door may attach to allow door to move from an open position to a closed position.

Connector and furniture part
A connector by way of which two frame elements of a frame of a furniture part can be connected, wherein the connector includes a corner-connecting mechanism for connecting respective end portions of the two frame elements in a corner region of the furniture-part frame. An attachment portion for attachment to a pivoting device is integrated on the corner-connecting mechanism, wherein the furniture part can be accommodated on a basic structure of a piece of furniture such that it can be pivoted by means of the pivoting device.

Hinge Assembly for Controlled Folding of an Electronic Device
A hinge assembly for an electronic device, the hinge assembly being moveable between an unfolded position and at least a first folded end position, and comprising a row of interconnected and abutting hinge blades and at least one linear actuator. The hinge blades are aligned in a common plane when the hinge assembly is in the unfolded position, each hinge blade being rotated relative neighboring hinge blades around a first hinge assembly rotation axis, when the hinge assembly is moved to the first folded end position. The linear actuator comprises a rotation shaft and a plurality of linear drive arrangements having different lengths. The rotation shaft extends in parallel with the first hinge assembly rotation axis and comprises sections having different diameters.
HINGE FOR ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
A hinge has a hinge body forming an articulating section extending between a first end and a second end of the hinge. The articulating section is adapted to bend from a neutral axis when the first and second ends are parallel to an angular range in which the first end is arranged among a plurality of angles within the angular range relative to the second end. The hinge body may define a receptacle along the articulating section, and an insert may be provided for insertion into the receptacle. The insert can modify the stiffness of the hinge in the angular range and is arranged parallel to the neutral axis.

Electronic device case and privacy device
A collapsible privacy shield may include a base panel and a top panel, the top panel coupled to the base panel by a pivot. The collapsible privacy shield may include a first side panel and a second side panel. Each side panel may be pivotably coupled to the base panel by a lower side panel pivot and to the top panel by an upper side panel pivot. Each side panel may include an upper section mechanically coupled to the top panel and a base section mechanically coupled to the base panel. The collapsible privacy shield may operate as a carrying case for an electronic device when in a collapsed position.
