Vehicle door support device
A vehicle door support device includes a support member and a support member that hold a door at an open position. Each of these support members includes: a cylindrical accommodating portion; a cylindrical cover connected to the accommodating portion; a cylindrical movable member movable relative to the cover in an axial direction; a gear mechanism arranged in the accommodating portion; a spindle connected to a first connecting portion of the gear mechanism; a rotation mechanism that rotates the spindle by movement of the movable member relative to the cover; and a coil spring that biases the movable member so as to advance with respect to the cover. At least the support member includes a magnetoresistive mechanism that is arranged in the accommodating portion, is connected to the second connecting portion of the gear mechanism, and applies a load to the spindle via the gear mechanism.
Multifunctional window
A sash (62) of a window opening up to 180° and capable of tilting is mounted onto a fixedly installed frame profile (63) and houses a pair of superimposing sashes that fit tightly therein when in closure position, i.e. an upper stationary sash (65) and a lower movable-divertible sash (64), each of the sashes (64,65) provided with laterally extending shafts (49) for connection with sash (62), roller wheels (50) provided onto the shafts (49) of sash (64) that roll within a predefined path created by insert guide profile members (19) and diverter guide members (66,68) to alternately bring sash (64) in a position of superimposing sash (65) and a position of alignment with the same. Lifting mechanisms (46) provided with a regulatory screw (84) for adjusting the pretension of a spring component thereof and thereby the force required by the user for moving the sash (64) are installed within the vertically extending sides of the sash (62).
WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE WITH A DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
A vertical axis washing machine appliance includes a door pivotably mounted to a cabinet. The door includes a frame, an axle and a lever arm. The axle is fixed to the frame, and the lever arm is fixed to the axle. A door lock assembly is operable to lock the door in a closed position. The door lock assembly includes a latch and an actuator that is operable to move the latch between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The latch is engaged with the lever arm of the door when the latch is in the engaged position.
Direct drive counter balancing system for overhead doors
The present disclosure is directed to overhead doors and overhead door operation. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a direct drive counter balancing system for operating overhead doors. In some examples, the direct drive counter balancing system of the present disclosure is for overhead door systems used in segmented door arrangements for box trucks.
Concealed door hinge with shifting pivot point
A hinge assembly for a swinging door includes a shifting pivot point movable between a first concealed positioned and a second extended position to provide clearance for protruding trim pieces and the like upon opening the swinging door. A double action spring mechanism energizes to drive the shifting pivot point between the first and second positions. An assembly including a link arm and a bell crank is driven by the double action spring mechanism to shift the shifting pivot point and locking mechanisms are provided to lock each of the link arm and the bell crank in their respective extended positions. A compartment assembly includes a swinging door, a fixed structure to which the swinging door is movably coupled, at least one hinge assembly according to the present disclosure.
Hinge device for opening and closing a vehicle door
The hinge device performs the opening and closing of a door of a vehicle without the door changing orientation. The device has an L-shaped arm provided with two ends attached in a pivotable way, around parallel rotation axes, to respective mounting bodies, one being fixable to the door and the other to the frame of the vehicle. Each body has a concentric pulley body with the respective rotation axis and fixed to a respective mounting body. The device further has a linking mechanism that extends along the arm and has a path formed by a first segment and a second segment that cross at least once.
Hinge device for opening and closing a vehicle door
The hinge device performs the opening and closing of a door of a vehicle without the door changing orientation. An example cable tension device is provided. The cable tension device includes a bracket, an arm, and a spring. The arm is rotatably coupled to the bracket and comprises a roller bar to receive a cable of an overhead door. The spring is coupled to the arm. The spring is under a load to cause the arm to rotate away from the bracket to maintain a tension on the cable.
Window balance systems
A window balance system includes a U-shaped channel with a first end and an opposite second end, and a balance element supported within the U-shaped channel. The balance element includes a fixed pulley block coupled to the first end of the U-shaped channel, a movable pulley block movably disposed in the U-shaped channel, and a cord extending between the fixed pulley block and the moveable pulley block. The window balance system includes a locking device coupled to the fixed pulley block and configured to engage with the cord and lock a position of the fixed pulley block with respect to the cord. The window balance system also includes a shoe coupled to the second end of the U-shaped channel. The shoe includes an elongate portion and an enlarged portion such that the shoe is substantially T-shaped, and a chamber configured to receive at least a portion of a pivot bar.
Cabinet and method for making the same, and aircraft including a cabinet
Cabinets, methods for making cabinets, and aircraft including cabinets are provided. In one example, a cabinet includes a cabinet body that at least partially surrounds a cabinet space and that defines a cabinet opening that allows access to the cabinet space. A cabinet door at least partially covers the cabinet opening when in a closed position and extends upward from a lower edge portion to an upper edge portion. The cabinet door has an outer exposed surface facing generally in a first direction away from the cabinet space when in the closed position. The cabinet door is operatively coupled to the cabinet body for opening from the closed position to an open position including the lower edge portion moving generally upward and the upper edge portion moving generally upward and towards the first direction to expose the cabinet opening.
