The methods comprise determining a drive torque demand on a crankshaft of an engine; determining an accessory torque demand on the crankshaft, the accessory torque demand comprising a first torque demand from a first e-machine and a second torque demand from a second e-machine; determining whether the sum of the drive torque demand and the accessory torque demand is greater than a usable torque capacity output from the engine crankshaft, and increasing a speed of the engine in response to determining that the sum of the drive torque demand and the accessory torque demand is greater than the usable torque capacity output from the engine crankshaft.

Methods and system are provided to control engine torque of an engine of a vehicle. The methods comprise determining a drive torque demand on a crankshaft of an engine; determining an accessory torque demand on the crankshaft, the accessory torque demand comprising a first torque demand from a first e-machine and a second torque demand from a second e-machine; determining whether the sum of the drive torque demand and the accessory torque demand is greater than a usable torque capacity output from the engine crankshaft, and increasing a speed of the engine in response to determining that the sum of the drive torque demand and the accessory torque demand is greater than the usable torque capacity output from the engine crankshaft.

A control device for a vehicle having: an engine; and a variator arranged downstream of the engine in a power transmission path connecting the engine and drive wheels, wherein the control device for the vehicle has a controller that executes a low standby control which downshifts the variator by moving a belt of the variator in a vertical direction (radial direction) during stopping of the vehicle. After starting the low standby control, the controller releases an output limit of the engine based on an actual secondary pressure of the variator.

The present invention relates to a system and method of calibrating a desirable engine speed for power take-off (PTO) operation. In particular, the present invention discloses having an instrument cluster unit (ICU) (102) that allows an operator to select a fourth desirable speed value for PTO operation, and a signal actuating module (SAM) (104) that may be configured to receive the value from the ICU (102) and store the value in its memory. Further, the present invention describes having a common power-train control unit (CPC) connected to the SAM (104) and configured to receive the desirable speed value from the SAM (104), and in response, modify one or more engine parameters to attain the desirable speed value for operating an engine PTO.

HYBRID AIR MOBILITY SYSTEM
A hybrid air mobility system is capable of flying a long distance through effective operation of an engine and batteries. The hybrid air mobility system includes a fuselage configured to supply power to a propeller and electric equipment, the fuselage being provided with a duct including an inlet and an outlet so as to circulate air to the engine and the electric equipment; a deflector rotatably installed at the outlet of the duct so as to convert a discharge direction of exhaust gas generated by the engine and cooling air after cooling the electric equipment; and a controller configured to determine whether or not the engine is driven and to control a rotated position of the deflector depending on an amount of driving of the engine so as to selectively adjust movement of the exhaust gas and the cooling air towards the propeller.

A control device obtains a specification of a vehicle-mounted device which is mounted on a vehicle, and implements a control according to the specification. The vehicle-mounted device includes a transmission unit that transmits a specific signal that enables the specification of the vehicle-mounted device to be obtained. The control device includes a receiving unit which is configured to be able to receive the specific signal, and a learning unit that learns that the specification of the vehicle-mounted device is a first specification if the receiving unit does not receive the specific signal, and learns that the specification of the vehicle-mounted device is a second specification, which is different from the first specification, when the receiving unit receives the specific signal.
