Electric coolant pump having a coolant flow path around a stator, a rotor and a control circuit
An electric coolant pump (1) conveys cooling fluid in order to cool a combustion engine of a vehicle. The electric coolant pump (1) has a pump impeller (2) for accelerating the coolant to be conveyed, a rotor shaft (3) on which the pump impeller (2) is fixed, an electric motor (6), having a stator (8) and a rotor (7), for driving the rotor shaft (3). A control circuit (13) controls the electric motor (6). A pump housing (10) accommodates at least the control circuit (13) and the electric motor (6). The coolant to be conveyed is able to flow through the pump housing (10). The coolant to be conveyed thereby flows around the stator (8), the rotor (6) and the control circuit (13).
Rotor for a pump, produced with a first elastic material
A rotor for a pump has a housing and a rotor, and has at least one blade. The rotor is able to be actuated to rotate about an axis of rotation in order to convey a fluid in the axial or radial direction, and the rotor is able to be deformed in the radial direction between a first, radially compressed state and a second, radially expanded state. At a maximum speed of rotation of the rotor at which the power of the pump is at a maximum, the blade is essentially radially oriented, and/or the rotor has its maximum diameter.
Impeller for blood pump
A blood pump is described that includes an impeller having proximal and distal bushings, at least one helical elongate element, a spring that is disposed inside of the helical elongate element and along an axis around which the helical elongate element winds, and a film of material supported between the helical elongate element and the spring. A frame is disposed around the impeller. A flexible elongate element extends radially from the spring to the helical elongate element, and maintains the helical elongate element within a given distance from the spring, to thereby maintain a gap between an outer edge of a blade of the impeller and an inner surface of the frame, during rotation of the impeller. Other applications are also described.

RATE CONTROL ALGORITHM HAVING A TRAINED ALGORITHMIC MODEL FOR OPTIMIZING FUEL DISTRIBUTION
A system comprising engine driven pumps, control units, a rate control algorithm, and a trained algorithmic model. The control units store operation variables for the engine driven pumps. The rate control algorithm includes an instruction set to read the operation variables for the engine driven pumps. The instruction set comprises a trained algorithmic model with a parameter space based on historical operation variables. The trained algorithmic model determines an optimal distribution rate based on an objective. The instruction set generates rate control variables based on the determined optimal distribution rate. Each rate control variable comprises a selected control unit identifier and a rate value. The instruction set distributes each rate control variable based on the selected control unit identifier. The trained algorithmic model determine the optimal distribution rate using an objective that defines a desired mixture between a first fuel and a second fuel.
MOLTEN SULFUR PUMP VIBRATION AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR ENHANCED CONDITION MONITORING
A system includes a vertical molten sulfur pump assembly that includes a top portion adjacent to a first end of the vertical molten sulfur pump assembly and a bottom portion adjacent to a second end of the vertical molten sulfur pump assembly. A pump motor is disposed in the top portion, an impeller is disposed in the bottom portion within an impeller casing, and a shaft is disposed within a central column and connecting the pump motor with the impeller. A pump inlet is disposed at the second end below the impeller casing. The pump inlet and the impeller casing are configured to be immersed in molten sulfur. The vertical molten sulfur pump assembly is configured to pump the molten sulfur into the inlet and upwards through a discharge passageway by rotation of the impeller. A vibration sensor and a temperature sensor are disposed on an external surface of the bottom portion, on or proximate to the impeller casing and the pump inlet. The temperature sensor is configured to measure a temperature of the molten sulfur proximate to the pump inlet. The vibration sensor includes a substrate comprising a polymer and a resonant layer disposed on a surface of the substrate. The resonant layer includes an electrically conductive nanomaterial and is configured to produce a resonant response in response to receiving a radio frequency signal.

Support structures for intravascular blood pumps
An improved system for supporting (e.g., localization and/or positioning of) intravascular devices discussed herein provides for example a multi-element arrangement. A set of struts optionally projects from the intravascular device and contacts the vessel walls. The localization and positioning of the pump may be provided by the struts and/or by use of a tether opposing a propulsive force to ensure localization.
Oil pump and scroll compressor
The present invention provides a vertical, axial flow oil pump (10). The oil pump includes: a casing (11), the casing having a cylindrical shape as a whole and being able to rotate around its own central axis (O); a suction port (12), located at a lower end of the casing in an axial direction, and configured to suck oil into the oil pump; a discharge port (13), located at an upper end of the casing in the axial direction, and configured to discharge the oil from the oil pump to outside; and an impeller (14), provided in and formed integrally with the casing. The impeller rotates together with the casing when the casing rotates, so that the oil is flowed from the suction port to the discharge port. The present invention also provides a scroll compressor having the oil pump.
