Power Shift System to Store and Distribute Energy
Disclosed is a machine learning energy management system that regulates incoming energy sources into compressed air storage operations and energy generation. Compressed air is directed into a thermoregulation system that cycles storage tanks according to physical qualities. A boost impulse creates energy to initiate the electrical energy generation. The compressed air operations and energy generation leverage the heating and cooling of an external HVAC system to improve performance and conservation of the heating and cooling for an external building. The system combines real-time data, historical performance data, algorithm control, variable air pressure for demand-based generation, tank-to-tank thermal cycling, building air heat exchanger, and boost pulsation to achieve optimized system efficiency and responsiveness.
COMPRESSOR SYSTEM
The present invention provides a compressor system including a plurality of compressor trains each including a gas turbine and a compression part including a compressor driven by the gas turbine, and a fluid feeding part for distributing a fluid fed from one fluid source to each of the compressors in the plurality of compressor trains. The gas turbine includes a gas turbine compressor for compressing air, a combustor for generating a combustion gas, a high-pressure turbine including a high-pressure turbine rotor mechanically coupled to a compressor rotor, and a low-pressure turbine including a low-pressure turbine rotor disposed away from the high-pressure turbine rotor. The plurality of compressor trains can be operated in parallel.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine includes: a main passage through which compressed air extracted from a compressor is guided to a bearing; and an oil supply device that includes an oil tank storing oil and supplies the oil to the main passage through which the compressed air flows to generate oil mist. The oil supply device includes: a pressure reducer disposed at the main passage; a bypass passage that bypasses the pressure reducer and connects an upstream passage and a downstream passage; a holding chamber disposed at the bypass passage and having a predetermined volume; a switching mechanism that permits or blocks communication between the holding chamber and the oil tank, communication between the holding chamber and the upstream passage, and communication between the holding chamber and the downstream passage; and a controller that controls the switching mechanism.
Magnetic shaft mode control
A shaft assembly for use with a turbine engine includes a shaft and a magnetic mode control unit. The shaft extends along an axis and is configured to rotate about the axis. The magnetic mode control unit is configured to control deflection of the shaft as the shaft rotates about the axis.
Blockchain based vehicle control
A vehicle control method of starting and shutting down an engine, in which a processor receives a blockchain update comprising a first transaction with instructions to perform an engine startup or shutdown; the blockchain update is validated; an engine startup or shutdown is performed based on the validated blockchain update; where the engine startup or shutdown is delayed based on validating a predetermined number of subsequent blockchain updates, including a second transaction with instructions to perform the engine startup or shutdown.
Power shift system to store and distribute energy with direct compressor drive
Disclosed is a machine learning energy management system that regulates incoming energy sources into compressed air storage operations and energy generation. Compressed air is directed into a thermoregulation system that cycles storage tanks according to physical qualities. A boost impulse creates energy to initiate the electrical energy generation. The compressed air operations and energy generation leverage the heating and cooling of an external HVAC system to improve performance and conservation of the heating and cooling for an external building, wherein compressed air is used to drive a coolant compressor. The system combines real-time data, historical performance data, algorithm control, variable air pressure for demand-based generation, tank-to-tank thermal cycling, building air heat exchanger, and boost pulsation to achieve optimized system efficiency and responsiveness.
VARIABLE GEOMETRY TURBOCHARGER TURBINE
In an effort to increase the reliability and net power and efficiency benefit of the axial- and mixed-flow turbocharger turbine, there is provided, a tapered, axially translatable (“sliding nozzle”) flow restrictor member to provide appropriate inlet exhaust gas flow characteristics for the operation of an axial or mixed flow turbine. The invention produces change of turbine flow with acceptable resolution at a lower cost than that for a conventional pivoting vane, variable geometry axial turbocharger turbine or at a similar cost but higher efficiency than a conventional sliding nozzle, variable geometry mixed, flow turbocharger turbine.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ALIGNING A GEARBOX OF A GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine includes a turbomachine having a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine in serial flow order. The turbomachine includes a low pressure shaft, a gearbox, a motor, a fan shaft, and a compressor forward frame. The low pressure shaft is configured to be driven by the turbine and is configured to drive the gearbox. The motor is also configured to drive the gearbox. The gearbox is configured to drive the fan shaft. A connection is provided between the compressor forward frame and at least one of the motor and the gearbox.
Multi-level networked ordnance system
A networked electronic ordnance system is provided. The system includes a first plurality of pyrotechnic devices connected to a first network bus. The system further includes a first bus controller connected to the first network bus. The system further includes a second plurality of pyrotechnic devices connected to a second network bus. The system further includes a second bus controller connected to the second network bus. The system further includes a bus interface circuit connected to the first bus controller by a first electrical connection and connected to the second bus controller by a second electrical connection.
