NAIL FOR USE IN NAIL SETTING TOOL
A nail for a nail setting tool comprises a predominantly lignocellulosic material. The nail has a nail shank, at the front end of which is provided a nail tip in the form of a conical round tip. At the rear end region is a head region. The tip angle of the nail tip is > 40°.
Nail Plate Installation System
A nail plate driving system for safely and efficiently installing nail plates at various heights. A first handle having an engaging head removably receives a second handle having a magnet. The magnet of the second handle is configured to magnetically secure a metal nail plate to allow a user to position the nail plate in a desired location on a wood member to be striked by the engaging head of the first handle. After the nail plate is secured to the wood member the magnet is removed from the nail plate and the process is repeated with the next nail plate. When not in use, the second handle may be secured within the first handle.
CONSTRUCTION CONNECTOR HAVING FASTENER RECEIVER
A construction connector that connects to a support member with a fastener has a connection element that engages the support member and a fastener receiver connected to the connection element. The fastener receiver includes a raised element and a driving element. The raised element has a proximal end portion connected to the connection element and a distal end portion disposed distally of the proximal end portion. The driving element is coupled to the distal end portion of the raised element and projects generally proximally from the distal end portion of the raised element. The driving element includes a cylindrical wall defining a fastener opening sized and shaped to receive the fastener. The driving element is constructed to be driven into the support member as the fastener is driven into the support member.
Landscape edging connector
A landscape edging installation includes ends of landscape edging joined together by a connector. The connector may have holes in lugs that are aligned with holes in the landscape edging tabs to receive a ground spike therethrough. The connector conceals a gap between the adjacent edging pieces.
Surgical stapling assemblies
A method for deforming a staple comprising a base, a first staple leg, and a second staple leg, wherein the base, the first staple leg, and the second staple leg are positioned within a common plane prior to being deformed, the method comprising positioning the first staple leg within a first cup of a staple pocket, the first cup comprising a first inner surface, applying a first compressive force to the first staple leg to bend the first staple leg toward the base and the second staple leg, contacting the first inner surface with the end of the first staple leg to bend the end of the first staple leg toward a first side of the base, and deforming the first staple leg such that the end of the first staple leg crosses a mid-line of the staple defined between the first staple leg and the second staple leg.
Adhesive backed positioning aids and anchoring assemblies to enhance object mounting experience
Wall anchors and positioning aids disclosed herein grant a user the ability to temporary hang or otherwise mount heavyweight objects, while also allowing for adjustment of at least one of the location and orientation of the assembly via the direct manipulation of the object.
Directional clinching tool and nails
A clinch nailer tool system. The system includes a clinch nailer tool body, coil magazine disposed in a bottom of the clinch nailer tool body and configured to hold a coil of nails, clinch arm pivotally connected to the clinch nailer tool body at a proximal end of the clinch arm, clinch nailer tool nose disposed in a front portion of the clinch nailer tool body, wherein the clinch nailer tool nose includes an opening in a lower portion thereof for receiving a nail from the coil magazine; and clinch plate disposed on a distal end of the clinch arm, wherein the clinch plate is configured to bend a nail from the clinch nailer tool nose.
Fastener
A fastener for fastening pipes or electrical conduit can be installed with the optional use of nails or screws. The fastener includes sharp teeth or spikes which can be hammered into an external surface, such as wood or masonry. The teeth or spikes are positioned, oriented, and otherwise configured to best suit the intended application. Installation can be accomplished using only the fastener itself and force exceeding a minimal threshold.
Wall hook and anchor nail fastening system
A hook mounting system of a unibody structure with three platforms that face an angled hole. The hook system includes nails adapted to be particularly suitable for mounting the hook and platform deformable inserts to receive the nails. The system is adapted for a rod hanging assembly. The system includes a nail having a non-circular shank portion and a head portion.
