Compressible suction cup having additional vacuum compartment, as well as lip, and bellows therefor
A suction cup for engaging and lifting an object is disclosed, comprising a lip, a bellows, and an upper portion sealingly connected to the bellows for connecting an inner volume of the suction cup to a source of vacuum, which cup, in an operative state, is capable of being locked in an at least partly compressed state of the lip and/or bellows. Locking is accomplished by air entrapped in a sealed exterior volume formed between the lip and bellows and/or between one or more segments of the bellows in an operative state being evacuated through one or more through open holes provided in the lip and/or bellows when vacuum is connected to the suction cup. A corresponding lip and a corresponding bellows for use in the suction cup are also disclosed.
Active suction cup
An active suction cup includes a vacuum chamber provided with at least one opening with an elastic rim adapted to be applied against a surface sealingly closing the chamber vacuum, and air extraction means from inside the chamber, adapted to extract the air from inside the chamber to reduce the pressure inside the chamber so that the suction cup remains adhered to the surface. The suction cup is characterized in that the air extraction means are arranged inside the vacuum chamber and connected to a conduit that opens outside the chamber, the suction cup also comprising a pressure sensor inside the chamber to detect the pressure inside the chamber. The pressure sensor is connected to control means adapted to actuate the air extraction means if the pressure detected by the pressure sensor is greater than a predetermined maximum pressure threshold.

MOUNTING MEMBER
A mounting member for mounting a mobile device and a mobile device accessory of being fixed to one face of the mobile device and having a ring on an object, the mounting member includes a body, a slot portion being formed in a part of the body and having a receiving groove for receiving the ring and a pressing portion disposed inside the receiving groove and configured to elastically press the ring to be located in the receiving groove.
ADJUSTABLE HOLDER
A holder for utensils is manually adjustable, and capable of supporting a plurality of utensils in a range of positions from an upright position through an inverted position. The adjustments are incremental. The holder can be attached or mounted to a surface using a suction cup or through use of adhesive or other types of attachment methods. The utensils can be make up make up brushes, toothbrushes or paintbrushes, or other implements.

CARRIER DEVICE FOR SECURING AN ACCESSORY TO A VEHICLE
A carrier device for securing an accessory to a vehicle is provided. The carrier device includes a support frame, a first suction cup mounted at the first end of the support frame, and a second suction cup mounted at the second end of the support frame. The carrier device also includes a first vacuum pump configured to selectively adjust the pressure within the first suction cup, and a second vacuum pump configured to selectively adjust the pressure within the second suction cup. The suction cups may be pivotally mounted to the support frame such that the rotational position of the first and second suction cups relative to the support frame is adjustable to selectively couple the carrier device to a vehicle. The carrier device may also include a support frame having a length that is adjustable to adapt to the size of a vehicle, and/or to adapt to the size of an accessory.
