COMPRESSION COUPLING FOR DRAIN CLEANING CABLE
A cable coupling for use with rotating cables is described. The cable coupling comprises a ferrule, a compression die, an adapter die, and a threaded nut cap. In particular versions, the cable coupling is used with high speed drain cleaning cables.
BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR A BLENDER JAR
A bearing assembly for a blender jar assembly includes a blender jar having a bottom wall that defines an opening. A retainer is positioned within the blender jar and defines a receiving space in communication with the opening. A jar collar is positioned exterior of the blender jar and is operably coupled with the retainer. A bearing housing is positioned within the receiving space and is spaced apart from the retainer by a first spacing. A nut is operably coupled with the bearing housing and is at least partially received by the receiving space. The nut is spaced apart from the retainer by a second spacing. A gasket is positioned to maintain at least one of the first and second spacings of the bearing housing and the nut relative to the retainer.
Apparatus for classification of material to be classified
A device configured to classify material to be classified, preferably into two fractions, preferably of soil, such as sticky, clayey soil, especially intended for use in a quarry, having a machine frame and having at least two spiral shafts rotatably mounted on the machine frame. At least one spiral shaft includes a core tube having at least one outer screw helix and at least one bearing journal. The core tube is mounted elastically relative to the bearing journal by at least one elastic bearing.
Spherical elastomeric mounts
An apparatus includes an outer bearing member defining a cavity and an inner bearing member disposed within the cavity. The inner bearing member includes a spherical surface and a rod attachment opening defined in the spherical surface. The apparatus also includes an elastomeric material disposed within the cavity adjacent to the spherical surface.
ROTARY SCREENING DEVICE WITH BEARINGS
Rotary screens used in rotary screening devices for cleaning water in which the prior art trunnion wheels on current state of the art rotary screening devices are substituted by a rocker shoe and a bearing on the rotary screen running on the rocker shoe.
Head shaft assembly and related method
A head shaft assembly has a center tube, an end tube, a collector sprocket and a collar. The center tube has drive and driven ends. The center tube has a center tube diameter. The end tube has a key extending longitudinally along an outer surface and inner and outer ends. The key defines a key length and the end tube has an end tube diameter. The collector sprocket is mountable to the end tube and rotationally secured to the end tube by the key. The collar is hollow between a first end and a second end. The center tube diameter is substantially the same as the end tube diameter and the drive end is proximate to the inner end. The drive end and the inner end are positioned within the collar between the first end and the second end. The collar fixes the center tube to the end tube.
APPARATUS FOR CLASSIFICATION OF MATERIAL TO BE CLASSIFIED
The invention relates to an apparatus for classifying (1) material to be classified, preferably into two fractions, preferably of soil, such as sticky, clayey soil, especially intended for use in a quarry, having a machine frame (2) and having at least two spiral shafts (3) rotatably mounted on the machine frame (2), wherein at least one spiral shaft (3) comprises a core tube (5) having at least one outer screw helix (4) and at least one bearing journal (6). According to the invention, it is provided that the core tube (5) is mounted elastically relative to the bearing journal (6) by means of at least one elastic bearing means (7).
BEARING WEAR MONITORING DEVICE FOR CIRCULAR CLARIFIER DRIVE
A system for monitoring bearing wear in a circular clarifier drive is provided. The system includes a drive motor comprising at least one gear operatively coupled to at least a bridge platform, skimmer, and header of the circular clarifier drive. The at least one gear is rotatable within a housing of the circular clarifier drive on a plurality of bearings positioned therebetween. The system further includes at least one sensor constructed and arranged to measure a gap between at least one stop block of the housing and the at least one gear and determine if the measured gap is within a predetermined range. Methods of retrofitting a circular clarifier drive including a drive motor operatively coupled to at least one gear disposed within a housing and a plurality of bearings positioned between the at least one gear and the housing are also provided.
