Roller Blind Clutch Cover With Adjustable Chain Guide
20170226798 · 2017-08-10 ·

A clutch cover for a roller blind clutch. The clutch cover comprises a clutch barrel portion mounted upon and extending outwardly from a first side of a backing plate, a cover ring and one or more indexing locators to fix the position of the cover ring relative to the backing plate when the cover ring is releasably secured about the backing plate. The cover ring includes a chain guide and is releasably securable about the backing plate such that the cover ring encompasses the backing plate. The indexing locators prevent relative rotational movement between the cover ring and the backing plate when the cover ring is releasably secured about the backing plate. The indexing locators permit the chain guide to be positioned at a plurality of angles relative to the backing plate.

Ramp actuator and angular-contact ball bearing unit having a cold-formed outer ring and an embossed ramp contour, and method for producing a ramp disc

A ramp actuator has a pivotable ramp disc, which on a first end face has at least one ramp, which is prepared for the rolling of a rolling body and, spaced apart therefrom, has a raceway for bearing rolling bodies of a rolling bearing prepared to receive radial and axial forces. A bearing ring can be fixed on a shaft, wherein the ratio of the axial width of the ramp disc relative to the support height thereof is between 2.9 and 4.1 and the ratio between the ramp radius of the ramp of the ramp disc relative to the support height of the ramp disc is between 0.7 and 1.3. A method for producing a ramp disc for such a ramp actuator includes drawing, upset forging and embossing, preferably carried out in that order.

Shifting system including a shifting assembly and method of operating the same

A shifting system includes an input member, a disconnect, an output member, and a shifting assembly to selectively rotationally couple the input member and the output member. The shifting assembly includes an input hub having a disconnectable component engageable with the disconnect and a clutch engagement component extending radially away from an axis. A plurality of clutch plates is coupled to the clutch engagement component and is moveable between engaged and disengaged positions. A biasing member is coupled to the clutch plates to bias the clutch plates toward the engaged position, and an apply plate is coupled to the biasing member. The apply plate is moveable between a first plate position where the clutch plates are in the engaged position, and a second plate position where the clutch plates are in the disengaged position. A clutch plate carrier is coupled to the clutch plates and to the output member.
