The speed sensor is aligned in its extension direction axially with an exciter in or on the brake disc or in the axle. The speed sensor is attached to a cable that does not need to be guided past the vehicle flange.

ANTI-RATTLE CALIPER ASSEMBLY
20230050101 · 2023-02-16 ·

A piston assembly for a disc brake assembly having a housing with a passage includes a piston provided in the passage and axially movable therein in response to hydraulic pressure. A rotatable spindle extends into the piston. A nut is threadably connected to the spindle such that rotation of the spindle results in axial movement of the nut within the passage to thereby axially move the piston. A damping member encircles the nut and has one of a sliding and rolling interface with the piston in response to relative axial movement between the nut and the piston to prevent rattling of the nut against the piston.

Guard plate for a disk brake and disk brake

A guard plate for a disk brake of a vehicle includes a base element having at least one fastening section for arranging the base element in relation to a brake disk of the disk brake and at least one extension element. The at least one extension element may be movable relative to the base element and is configured to be moved and fixed between an initial position and at least one extension position.

It is possible to prevent occurrence of a resonance phenomenon of a hydraulic unit and to improve attachability/detachability of the hydraulic unit to/from a bracket. A support section (42, 43) includes: a fixture member (80) that is fixed to a housing (30) for a hydraulic unit (10); and a vibration absorbing member (75) that is interposed between the housing (30) and a bracket (41) and has a through-hole (75a) through which the fixture member (80) passes. The vibration absorbing member (75) includes two vibration absorbing members (75B, 75C, 75D) having different rebound resilience from each other. In a state where the vibration absorbing member (75) is partially accommodated in a recessed section (47) of the bracket (41), the vibration absorbing member (75) is held between the housing (30) and the bracket (41).

VENTILATED BRAKE ROTOR
20230008271 · 2023-01-12 · ·

A ventilated brake rotor rotationally associated with a vehicle element to be braked, having a rotation axis and defining an axial direction, parallel to or coinciding with the rotation axis, a radial direction perpendicular to the axial direction and a circumferential direction, perpendicular to both the axial and radial directions, has a cup-shaped body having at least one ventilation opening passing through a cup-shaped body thickness to allow passage of a cooling fluid for cooling the ventilated brake rotor, at least one front annular portion for connecting the ventilated brake rotor to the vehicle element to be braked, and a side portion extending from the at least one front annular portion at least in the axial direction. A protective element shields the at least one ventilation opening preventing foreign bodies from entering into the cup-shaped body and allowing the cooling fluid to cross the at least one ventilation opening.

Protective Cover for Temporary Protective Shielding of Brake
