Modular system
11578859 · 2023-02-14 · ·

A modular system may include a plurality of magnets that may be provided to self-align a casing with an accessory. Self-alignment of the casing and the accessory may provide a secure connection of the casing with the accessory. At least one detent and at least one locking arm may mate and lock the casing against the accessory in a mounted position. The at least one detent and the at least one locking arm may unlock in an insertion position. Self-alignment may occur when a first set of magnets attracts a second set of magnets in which opposite polarities attract and automatically initiate movement of the casing towards the accessory.

Audio driver and power supply unit architecture

This disclosure relates to speakers and more specifically to an array speaker for distributing music uniformly across a room. A number of audio drivers can be radially distributed within a speaker housing so that an output of the drivers is distributed evenly throughout the room. In some embodiments, the exit geometry of the audio drivers can be configured to bounce off a surface supporting the array speaker to improve the distribution of music throughout the room. The array speaker can include a number of vibration isolation elements distributed within a housing of the array speaker. The vibration isolation elements can be configured reduce the strength of forces generated by a subwoofer of the array speaker.

Artificial light configured for daylight emulation

A lighting system configured for daylight emulation. The system includes a plurality of light sources for generating a daylight-emulating output light spectrum and a ventilation element for generating a simulated breeze to artificially emulate conditions in an outside environment of an enclosed structure in which the lighting system is disposed. The system also includes a controller for dynamically controlling at least one of the intensity, directionality and color temperature to emulate sun position for at least one of a geography and time of day. The controller also controls the generated simulated breeze of the ventilation element to be one of a cool breeze and a warm breeze to artificially emulate the outside environment in correspondence with the artificially emulated daylight spectrum. The system further includes a networking facility that facilitates data communication with at least one external resource.
