HEAT GENERATION DEVICE, HEAT UTILIZATION SYSTEM AND FILM-LIKE HEAT GENERATION ELEMENT
A heat generating device includes: a sealed container; a tubular body provided in a hollow portion of the sealed container; a heat generating element provided on an outer surface of the tubular body and configured to generate heat by occluding and discharging hydrogen supplied to the hollow portion; and a flow path formed by an inner surface of the tubular body and through which configured to allow a fluid that exchanges heat with the heat generating element to flow. The heat generating element includes a base made of a hydrogen storage metal, and a multilayer film provided on the base. The multilayer film has a first layer made of a hydrogen storage metal and having a thickness of less than 1000 nm, and a second layer made of a hydrogen storage metal, which is different from that of the first layer, and having a thickness of less than 1000 nm.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DOWNHOLE STEAM GENERATION USING LASER ENERGY
An apparatus may include an inlet and an enclosure includes a container that is coupled to the inlet. The container may receive water from the inlet. The apparatus may further include various check valves coupled to the container. The apparatus may further include a laser head coupled to the container. The laser head may receive a laser signal that converts the water inside the container into steam. The check valves may release the steam outside the enclosure.

Power Generation System Employing Power Amplifying Thermo-Mechanical Inverter Technology
Modern thermal power plants based on classical thermodynamic power cycles suffer from an upper bound efficiency restriction imposed by the Carnot principle. This disclosure teaches how to break away from the classical thermodynamics paradigm in configuring a thermal power plant so that its efficiency will not be restricted by the Carnot principle. The power generation system described herein makes a path for the next generation of low-to-moderate temperature thermal power plants to run at significantly higher efficiencies powered by renewable energy. This disclosure also reveals novel high-performance power schemes with integrated fuel cell technology, driven by a variety of fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia, syngas, methane and natural gas, leading toward low-to-zero emission power generation for the future.
Sagdox geometry
There is provided a process to recover bitumen from a subterranean hydrocarbon reservoir. The process includes injecting steam and oxygen separately into the bitumen reservoir. When mixed in the reservoir, the mix is in the range of 5 to 50% O.sub.2. The process also includes producing hot bitumen and water using a horizontal production well, and producing/removing non-condensable combustion gases to control reservoir pressure.

SYSTEM FOR GENERATING SUPERHEATED STEAM USING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
The invention relates to a system for generating superheated steam using hydrogen peroxide, formed by: a container for storing hydrogen peroxide, which stores a solution of peroxide that is used during the reaction to generate superheated steam; a hydrogen peroxide discharge pump connected to a first connecting duct, said discharge pump being used to pump the hydrogen peroxide solution to a reaction container via a second connecting duct; and a steam generating reaction container or reactor, in which the reaction takes place and the superheated steam is generated, said reaction container or reactor receiving the hydrogen peroxide solution in order for the reaction to take place and the superheated steam to be generated and subsequently conveyed through a nozzle and an outlet duct towards installations that are to undergo cleaning and/or stimulation.
Laser for steam turbine system
A steam turbine system uses a laser to instantaneously vaporize water in a nozzle within a turbine. This steam is then used to rotate the turbine. Thus, the turbine system does not require an external boiler. The steam turbine system may be used in either an open system, where the steam passing through the turbine is not condensed and reused, or a closed system, where the steam passing through the turbine is condensed and reused.
