TORCH CANISTER WITH FASTENED FLAME GUARD
A torch canister with a fuel reservoir has a neck extending from the top of the fuel reservoir defining a wick holder. The torch canister has a flame guard affixed to the neck.
COMBUSTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A combustion system using at least 90 wt % propylene glycol based liquid fuel includes a first fuel tank, a wick inserted in the first tank, a sensing unit configured to receive an activating signal and sense the liquid level of the propylene glycol based liquid fuel in the first fuel tank and send a fuel replenishment signal accordingly, a second fuel tank, a conduit system connected with the first and the second fuel tanks, and a drive unit connected with the conduit system and configured to receive the fuel replenishment signal so as to cause the propylene glycol based liquid fuel in the second fuel tank to replenish the first fuel tank through the conduit system as well as to cool the wick.
LIQUID FUEL SELF-SUSTAINING COMBUSTION BURNER FOR FLAME SYNTHESIS
The present disclosure relates to a liquid fuel self-sustaining combustion burner for flame synthesis, including a swirl-flow cylinder and a stable combustion cylinder. A swirl-flow plate is disposed at an open end of the swirl-flow cylinder and defines swirl-flow outlets. A tangential inlet tube is mounted on the swirl-flow cylinder and in fluid communication with the swirl-flow chamber. An open end of the swirl-flow cylinder extends into the stable combustion chamber. The fuel can be atomized by an atomizer and sprayed into the stable combustion chamber for combustion. Air introduced from the tangential inlet tube can flow into the swirl-flow chamber and advance spirally around the central stabilizing column to reach the swirl-flow plate. The airflow is partially injected into the stable combustion chamber through the swirl-flow outlets, and then continues to spirally advance. An atomizing nozzle of the atomizer is located inside the swirling airflow.
Evaporator assembly for mobile heating devices
An evaporator subassembly for mobile heating devices, in particular for a motor vehicle, having the following: an evaporator, an evaporator receptacle which is constructed to receive the evaporator, a glow plug and a combustion chamber, wherein the glow plug extends or is constructed to be extensible obliquely relative to a main surface of the evaporator into the combustion chamber.
TORCH SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC FUEL REPLENISHMENT
A system of automatically refueled liquid fuel burning torches includes a central fuel reservoir and a pump interconnected with the torches by a fuel plumbing system. When the fuel reaches a lower level in the torches, the plumbing system is automatically pressurized by the pump so that the fuel flows through the plumbing system to raise the fuel to a higher level in the local torch reservoirs. The refueling can be controlled by level sensors and valves in the torches. A remotely operated wick seal can exclude air from torch interiors and prevent fuel spills. A central controller and/or local torch controllers can be powered by wires and/or by batteries, which can be recharged by solar power. The controllers can be wirelessly monitored and/or controlled by software running on a remote device. The remote device and software can control a plurality of the systems.
Fuel-burning device
A fuel-burning device includes a container defining a receptacle and having an opening which is at an end of the receptacle. The opening has a first width. The fuel-burning device also includes a fixing mechanism mounted in the container through a fixing member. The fixing member has an end resiliently fixed on a periphery of the receptacle. The fixing member is radially compressible. When the fixing member is not compressed, the end thereof has a second width which is greater than the first width. The end of the fixing member is compressible to a third width which is smaller than the first width.
Crude and waste oil burner
A burner capable of burning crude or other heavy oil. A combustion chamber is surrounded by a wall of thermal insulation. An air-fuel injector pipe extends through the wall and opens into the combustion chamber. An oil supply pipe extends along the interior of the air fuel injector pipe to an inner open end that is proximate the inner end of the air-fuel injector pipe. A venturi insert is fixed within the air-fuel injector pipe and has an orifice positioned outward of the open inner end of the oil supply pipe. A combustion air supply including a blower and a recuperator transfers heat from outgoing combusted exhaust gases to incoming combustion-supporting air being blown through the recuperator and the air fuel injector pipe into the combustion chamber.
TORCH WITH ELEVATED PLATFORM
A device has a platform with an upward facing receptacle therein. A base supports the platform at a predetermined height and a fuel burning insert is removable retained in the upward facing receptacle by retention means affixed to the receptacle. The fuel burning insert provides for combustion of liquid fuel proximate the predetermined height of the platform. The fuel burning insert may be removed, exchanged, and refilled by a user without tools.
MULTI-TUBE ONCE-THROUGH BOILER
In a multi-tube once-through boiler configured such that boiler water within water tubes is heated and evaporated to take out consumed steam, rows of water tubes arranged on the left and right of the combustion chamber are respectively connected by linear left and right upper headers provided at upper ends and linear left and right lower headers provided at lower ends, a lid body is formed on one end side facing the combustion chamber and a burner for supplying combustion gas to the combustion chamber is provided, and the burner is provided with a recovered oil supply unit for supplying recovered oil, a waste solvent supply unit for supplying a waste solvent, an injected air supply unit, a combustion air supply unit, and a control unit for controlling the supply of the recovered oil, the waste solvent, the injected air, and the combustion air.
COOLING SHIELD FOR A LIQUOR INJECTION PIPE OF A LIQUOR GUN, LIQUOR GUN SYSTEM COMPRISING THE COOLING SHIELD, AND METHOD FOR COOLING A LIQUOR INJECTION PIPE IN A LIQUOR GUN SYSTEM
