Hemmed shelf for appliance-module assembly
An appliance including a cooking cavity wrapper and a first side wall disposed laterally adjacent a first side of the cooking cavity wrapper. The first side wall includes a first hemmed shelf formed as a U-shaped bend therein. The U-shaped bend defines an inward-extending flange comprising a top leg and a bottom leg disposed in face-to-face adjacency with one another. The first hemmed shelf is adapted to support a module of the appliance above the cooking cavity wrapper.
Double oven gas with fan
An air baffle unit includes a major housing wall extending in first and second directions to define an exterior side and an interior side, two upper corner output vent openings, first and second laterally opposed side vent openings, and an air intake opening arrangement defined within an intake area along the major housing wall and extending therealong in the first and second directions. The air intake opening arrangement is defined in an intake area and includes first and second pluralities of intake vents positioned within respective first and second open areas of the intake area with first and second closed areas extending between the first and second open areas. The first and second open areas and first and second closed areas each positioned within respective quarters of the intake area. The open areas are displaced relative to each other in both the first direction and the second direction.

Apparatus for cooking at least two foodstuffs
An apparatus comprises at least two cooking devices, a control unit, an input device and an output device. The control unit is adapted to determine if at least two of the foodstuffs to be cooked can be cooked in one of the cooking devices in an at least partly concurrent manner. Depending thereon, the control unit allocates the foodstuffs to be cooked to the cooking devices and outputs, via the output device, which of the foodstuffs can be cooked in which cooking device or in which cooking devices.

Method for cooking in a modular cooking appliance
A method for cooking is disclosed. In response to an oven being selected to cook a food item, a determination is made whether or not any oven is being engaged in cooking. If no oven is being engaged in cooking, then temperature-control mode is utilized to control oven temperature of the selected oven. If one oven is currently being engaged in cooking, then another determination is made whether or not the total current demand by the two ovens to cook respective food items exceeds a predetermined current limitation under temperature-control mode. If the total current demand does not exceed the predetermined current limitation, then temperature-control mode is utilized to control oven temperature of the two ovens. If the total current demand exceeds the predetermined current limitation, then time-control mode is utilized to control oven temperature of the two ovens.
Oven appliance with convection bake and broil
An oven appliance includes a cabinet with a chamber is defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. The oven appliance also includes a gas burner positioned proximate to a bottom portion and/or a back wall of the chamber. A natural convection flow path is defined through the chamber. The natural convection flow path extends from an origin at the gas burner to a top wall of the chamber. The oven appliance further includes a convection fan positioned along the natural convection flow path above the gas burner and below the top wall. The convection fan is positioned and configured to divert combustion products generated by the gas burner from the natural convection flow path along a forced convection flow path towards a center of the chamber when the convection fan is activated.
