A combined HVAC and fire suppression system includes a HVAC apparatus and a fluid outlet for release of heat exchange fluid into a discharge plenum of the HVAC system. The heat exchange fluid is a clean agent, such that release of the heat exchange fluid into the discharge plenum provides a fire suppressant effect for a conditioned space. The HVAC apparatus includes a network of piping holding a heat exchange fluid and arranged for chilling the heat exchange fluid via a chiller connected to the piping; a fan coil unit connected to the network of piping, the fan coil unit includes a coil for passage of the heat exchange fluid chilled by the chiller, a fan for movement of air over the coil in order to transfer heat from the air to the heat exchange fluid in the coil, and the discharge plenum.

The present inventive concept includes a duct system and method for using same to map and locate ducts. A preferred embodiment of the duct system includes a duct, a plurality of electronic information modules and an oversheath at least partially covering the plurality of information modules and fixing the information modules to the duct. The plurality of information modules are configured to emit a positional signal to enable location of the information modules and associated duct(s) and/or mapping of the duct system.

Provided is an artificial intelligence air conditioner for calibrating sensor data. The artificial intelligence air conditioner includes a sensor unit configured to acquire sensor data; a communication unit configured to receive at least one of external sensor data or environment information from at least one of an external air conditioner or an internet of things (IoT) device; and a processor. The processor is configured to generate estimated sensor data corresponding to the sensor unit using a sensor data estimation model, the received external sensor data and the received environment information, determine whether the acquired sensor data is abnormal using the generated estimated sensor data, perform an air conditioning function using the acquired sensor data if the acquired sensor data is determined as normal, and perform the air conditioning function using the generated estimated sensor data if the acquired sensor data is determined as abnormal.

A diffuser assembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a housing having a wall and a passage formed in the wall. The diffuser assembly also includes a first adjustment panel moveably coupled to the wall and having a first flange and a second adjustment panel moveably coupled to the wall and having a second flange. The first flange and the second flange define at least a portion of an inlet port of the diffuser assembly that extends through the passage. The inlet port is configured to fluidly couple to a duct and direct an air flow from the duct into an interior volume of the housing. The first adjustment panel and the second adjustment panel are configured to translate along the wall to adjust a size of the inlet port.
System and method for controlling air conditioner

A controller transmits operation information of the air conditioner including temperatures and humidities of outdoor air flowing into the air conditioner and indoor air inside each zone of the booth and temperature/humidity stabilization condition values for each zone of the booth. A server extracts stabilization time of the operation information equal to current operation information in a database in which the stabilization time required for temperature and humidity of each both zone to reach the condition values is stored and applies operation command for the air conditioner to the controller at operation schedule time derived by calculating the stabilization time backward from a time when a vehicle arrives at each booth zone.
