Refrigeration Device With A Drawer

A refrigeration device includes a storage area which is delimited by a body and a door and which is subdivided by a shelf into an upper and a lower compartment. A drawer is accommodated in the lower compartment. In a stop position of the drawer in which it is pushed into the lower compartment, a front wall of the drawer bears against a front edge of the shelf. A closure element can be moved across a passage or opening in the shelf between a position which blocks the passage and a position which opens the passage over at least part of its cross section.

Multi-temperature-region ice-temperature fresh keeping storehouse and fresh keeping method for bergamot pears

Disclosed herein is a multi-temperature-region ice-temperature fresh keeping storehouse and a fresh keeping method for bergamot pears that includes a precooling region, a feeding and discharging channel, a cooling region, an ice temperature detection device, a grading device, a conveyer belt control device, an automatic storage device, and a temperature rise and fall buffering channel. The cooling region includes four freezers, with temperatures ranging from 0° C.-−3° C. The four freezers are connected level by level according to a temperature reduction rule. The present disclosure implements multi-temperature-region graded storage of bergamot pears according to the value of an ice point temperature of the bergamot pears, so that they are always stored close to the ice point temperature without freezing, thereby preventing freeze injury, and prolonging shelf life.

TOPOLOGY-OPTIMIZED DUCTWORK FOR NOISE MINIMIZATION IN MICRO-CHILLING SYSTEMS

A ducting assembly, apparatus and method of manufacture is provided. The assembly includes a housing, and a duct inside the housing for channeling outside air from an inlet of the duct to an outlet of the duct to a fan of a micro-chiller unit. The duct is configured with a variable parametric three-dimensional (3D) shape to discretely reverse a flow of the outside air as the outside air is channeled inside the duct. The outside air is received, in a first direction at the inlet of the duct through a first stage of the duct that expands airflow of the outside air inside the duct and then is discretely reversed, in a second direction by the variable parametric 3D shape to flow to the outlet of the duct through a second stage that constricts the airflow of the outside air inside the duct to reduce maldistribution of air.

Locking shelf insert for use with a refrigerator or freezer

The locking shelf insert for use with a refrigerator or freezer is configured for use with a storage device selected from the group consisting of a refrigerator and a freezer. The selected storage device further comprises a storage shelf. The locking shelf insert for use with a refrigerator or freezer is a barrier structure that attaches to the storage shelf. The locking shelf insert for use with a refrigerator or freezer forms a barricade that controls access into the storage space provided by the storage shelf. The locking shelf insert for use with a refrigerator or freezer comprises a first shell, a second shell, and a door structure. The first shell, the second shell, and the third shell combine to form the barricade such that the form factor of the barricade is adjustable. The door structure provides access into the protected storage space formed by the barricade.

A refrigerator includes a main body that has a storage chamber and a drying chamber; a thermoelectric module that includes a heat absorber and a heat dissipater; a cooling fan that circulates air in the storage chamber to the heat absorber and the storage chamber; a heat-dissipating fan that blows air to the heat dissipater; an air guide that has a passage for guiding air heated by the heat dissipater to the drying chamber; a heater that is disposed in the passage; and a damper that controls a flow of air in the passage between the heat-dissipating fan and the heater. Heat of the heat dissipater transfers to the drying chamber through the passage of the air guide and the damper, thereby being able to dry an object to be dried.

An apparatus is for diagnosing a valve failure of a refrigerator by detecting whether or not a first valve configured to control flow of a refrigerant circulating in a first refrigeration compartment and a second valve configured to control flow of a refrigerant circulating in a second refrigeration compartment are abnormal. The apparatus includes a first temperature sensor measuring a temperature in the first refrigeration compartment, a second temperature sensor measuring a temperature in the second refrigeration compartment, and a controller configured to determine whether or not the first valve and the second valve are abnormal by comparing changes in temperatures measured by the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor in a state where the first valve or the second valve is opened. The apparatus further includes a display configured to display the determination result indicating whether or not the first valve and the second valve are abnormal.

PORTABLE REFRIGERATION UNIT

A portable refrigeration unit includes a drain tank having an open top. A grate is coupled to the top of the drain tank and covers the open top. A sidewall is upstanding from the drain tank. A top tray is coupled to a top edge of the sidewall. The top tray includes a recess and a plurality of drain holes. An ice basket includes a plurality of drain openings. The ice basket is removeably nested within the recess of the top tray. Shell fish are placed inside the portable refrigeration unit and rest on the grate. The ice basket is loaded with ice and placed within the top tray. As the ice melts, cold water drips through the ice basket and the top tray, and onto the shell fish. The cold water drains through the grate and into the tank.
