Delivery device for blast furnace
A delivery device for delivering stock material into a blast furnace includes a transition channel for the stock material, a chute for delivering the stock material, a first annular body, coaxial to and outside the transition channel, adapted to rotate about a first axis, and a second annular body, coaxial to and outside the first annular body, adapted to translate along the first axis with respect to said first annular body and/or to rotate about the first axis together with said first annular body. When the second body translates along the first axis, at least one fixed rack rotates at least one toothed wheel and a respective shaft about a second axis transversal to the first axis, thus causing a change in the inclination of the chute with respect to the first axis.

DYNAMIC AND LOCALIZED TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR EPITAXIAL DEPOSITION REACTORS
A method and apparatus for improving film growth uniformity on a semiconductor substrate. The film growth uniformity is improved by adjusting the amount of power provided to the substrate by spot heaters as the substrate is rotated. Therefore, the amount of power provided to the substrate by the spot heaters changes as the portion of the substrate being heated by spot heater changes. The change in power provided by the spot heater is dependent on a temperature correction factor applied by the controller.
Process for the Commercial Production of High-Quality Catalyst Material
The present invention describes an improved process for the commercial scale production of high-quality catalyst materials. These improved processes allow for production of catalysts that have very consistent batch to batch property and performance variations. In addition these improved processes allow for minimal production losses (by dramatically reducing the production of fines or small materials as part of the production process). The improved process involves multiple steps and uses calcining ovens that allow for precisely control temperature increases where the catalyst is homogenously heated. The calcining gas is released into a separate heating chamber, which contains the recirculation fan and the heat source. Catalysts that may be produced using this improved process include but are not limited to catalysts that promote CO hydrogenation, reforming catalysts, Fischer Tropsch Catalysts, Greyrock GreyCat™ catalysts, catalysts that homologate methanol, catalysts that promote hydrogenation of carbon compounds, and other catalysts used in industry.
Charging system, in particular for a shaft smelt reduction furnace
A charging system for a shaft smelt reduction furnace includes a frame structure for mounting on a top charge opening of a shaft smelt reduction vessel; a center shaft arrangement supported by the frame structure and for removing off-gas gases from the furnace and to introduce granular charge materials to form a stack of materials in the furnace. The center shaft arrangement includes a center hood for off-gas extraction; a pair of first and second feed channels for first and second materials. The center hood includes a pair of facing off-gas panels defining an off-gas channel. The partition walls include lower portions that extend towards each other below the center hood to define a center feed passage, whereby material descending through the first feed channels may accumulate on lower portions according to the angle of repose of the material, permitting self-adjustment of the first material stock-line in the shaft arrangement.
DEVICE AND METHOD BY WHICH THE PROCESS CONTROL, IN PARTICULAR TEMPERATURE CONTROL, OF A METAL PRODUCT PASSED THROUGH ALONG A SINGLE RUNNING-THROUGH LINE IS FLEXIBLY INFLUENCED BY MEANS OF AT LEAST TWO ADJACENT SEGMENTS
A device and a method are described by which the process control, in particular temperature control, of a metal product passed through along a single running-through line is flexibly influenced by means of at least two adjacent segments. By exchanging segments, the process control can be adapted quickly and flexibly to a wide variety of metal products.
BATCH FURNACE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF OPERATING A BATCH FURNACE ASSEMBLY
Batch furnace assembly for processing wafers, comprising a process chamber housing defining a process chamber and having a process chamber opening, a wafer boat housing defining a water boat chamber, a door assembly, a differential pressure sensor, and a controller. The door assembly has a closed position in which it closes off the process chamber opening. The door assembly defines in a closed position a door assembly chamber having a purge gas inlet for supplying purge gas to the door assembly chamber for gas sealingly separating the process chamber from the wafer boat chamber. The differential pressure sensor assembly fluidly connects to the door assembly chamber and is configured to determine a pressure difference between a pressure in the door assembly chamber and a reference pressure in a reference pressure chamber. The controller is configured to establish whether the pressure difference is in a desired pressure range.
Heat-treating furnace
A heat-treating furnace has: a rotary shaft; a rotary bottom surface pivotally supported by the rotary shaft and rotates; a plurality of workpiece storage chambers arranged on the rotary bottom surface in a multi-stage torus configuration around an axis of the rotary shaft as a center; a hollow bell-shaped hot-blast guide disposed in a center of the torus configuration on the rotary bottom surface around the axis of the rotary shaft as a center so as to decrease a volumetric capacity in the furnace and to adjust a quantity of a hot blast fed in from above itself into the workpiece storage chamber on each stage; a furnace body bottom surface spaced away from the rotary bottom surface; and a furnace body lateral surface disposed on the furnace body bottom surface.
