A tube sheet for a shell and tube heat exchanger. The tube sheet includes a substrate having a plurality of through holes; a plug made of a plug material located in each through hole, each plug having a through passage shaped to receive an end of a corresponding tube from the heat exchanger; and a lining made of a lining material, the lining encapsulates the substrate and fills a gap between each plug and the substrate.

The invention concerns a seal (5) for sealing off the gap between a heat exchanger (1) and the inside wall of a groove (7) in a fluid channel for accommodating said heat exchanger [1], the seal (5) comprising at least one fixing member (51, 52) for fixing the seal (5) on at least part of the circumference of the heat exchanger (1) and at least a first (53) and second lip (54) adapted to contact opposite sides (71, 72) of the groove (7) to thereby seal off the gap between the heat exchanger (1) and the fluid channel and to fix said at least part of the circumference of the heat exchanger (1) inside the groove (7).
HEAT EXCHANGER
The invention relates to a heat exchanger for transferring heat between two fluids with different temperature, said heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchange element (10, 11), said first heat exchange element (10, 11) having at least one core (20, 21) extending longitudinally through the heat exchange element, said at least one core (20, 21) defining a core cavity, said cavity being configured with an inlet port 22a and an outlet port 22b to receive a first fluid flowing there through, said heat exchange element (10, 11) having ribs (30) extending continuously substantially in parallel with the at least one core (20, 21) along the whole length of said core (20, 21), said ribs (30) extending radially outwardly from the core (20, 21) and being exposed to contact with a second fluid, flowing along said ribs (30). The invention being distinctive in that each said rib (30, 31) is divided into at least two radially extending fins (33, 34, 35, 36) at a radial distance from the core (20, 21), each said fin (33, 34, 35, 36) extends to a proximity of an outer casing surrounding said first heat exchanger element (10, 11) or a proximity of fins (33,34, 35, 36) of an additional heat exchanger element (10, 11), said additional heat exchanger element (10, 11) being arranged adjacent to said first heat exchanger element (10, 11), said inlet port (22a) and said outlet port (22b) being coupled to said core (20, 21) at the same end of the core (20a, 21a)
Ultraviolet (UV)-curable sealant in a microelectronic package
Embodiments may relate to a microelectronic package that includes an integrated heat spreader (IHS) coupled with a package substrate. The microelectronic package may further include a sealant material between the package substrate and the IHS. The sealant material may be formed of a material that cures when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.

Each fin includes a fin body including a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet coupled to each other, wherein the fin body is curved and includes a first portion and a second portion transverse to the first portion, an evaporation channel defined in the first portion, one or more connecting channels disposed in the first portion and in fluid communication with the evaporation channel, a condensation channel defined in the second portion, and one or more auxiliary channels disposed in the second portion and in fluid communication with the one or more connecting channels and the condensation channel.

Three-dimensional heat dissipating device
A three-dimensional heat dissipating device includes a vapor chamber, a heat pipe, a working fluid and a solder bonding portion. The vapor chamber includes an inner cavity and a first joint. The first joint is formed with a passage being in communication with the inner cavity. The heat pipe is provided with a pipe space and a second joint. The pipe space is in communication with the inner cavity through the passage. The second joint is sleeved to surround the first joint such that one end surface of the second joint is directly contacted with one surface of the vapor chamber. The working fluid is filled within the pipe space and the inner cavity. The solder bonding portion connected to the second joint and the surface of the vapor chamber for integrating the heat pipe and the vapor chamber together.
