Compact sight accessory mechanism
A sight magnifier assembly is configured to be releasably secured to a rail feature of a firearm to be used with a sight assembly to enhance a downrange image. The sight magnifier assembly includes a base configured to be releasably secured to the rail feature of the firearm and a housing rotatably coupled to the base. The housing is configured to support sight optics used to enhance or improve the downrange image. The assembly further includes a mechanism configured to enable the rotation the housing with respect to the base between a use position in which the sight optics is configured to be used with the sight assembly and a stored position in which the sight optics is moved so that the housing and the sight magnifier assembly is nearly completely obscured from the operator by the sight assembly as viewed along a longitudinal axis.

The interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, and a second fastener rotationally mated to the first elongated fastener. The first elongated fastener has right-handed threading and is arranged through a through hole in the firearm accessory with a first end extending below first and second halves of a first slot protrusion of the firearm accessory. The second fastener has a length greater than a width, the length measured along a longitudinal axis of the second fastener, the second fastener having a plurality of straight edges. At least one of the plurality of straight edges prevents the second fastener from rotating further than a closed position when the at least one of the straight edges abuts a sidewall of an elongated slot in the firearm.

Firearm gas discharge deflector
An accessory for a firearm includes a deflector structured to alter a path of discharge gasses and/or debris after such gasses and debris pass a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) of the firearm. The LCI indicates a presence of a cartridge within a firing chamber of the firearm, but openings within and around the LCI also provide a path for hot gasses and debris to strike accessories, which causes fouling and other deterioration.

The invention discloses a selectable offset image wedge assembly and various methods for making and for use with any optical system having a circular lens and an objective, comprising a housing with a rear-facing end that mounts onto the objective and a forward-facing end with a circular wedge lens mounted therein that is coaxially aligned with the circular lens of the optical system, wherein, the wedge is adjustable to any predetermined clocking position after detachment from the optical system, allowing quick and repeated reattachment to the optical system to an approximately exact vertical orientation of a first image produced by the wedge lens and a second image produced by the circular lens of the optical system.
