A FOOD PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING AND BATCHING FOOD ITEMS
A food processing system and a method for processing and batching food items conveyed by a conveyor means where the batches fulfil at least one target criteria including at least one weight target, including a first weight determining means for determining the weight of incoming food items, a batching system, a food item separation device positioned downstream in relation to the first weight determining means and upstream in relation to the batching system, and a control system for controlling the batching system and the food item separation device. The controlling including, repeatedly: monitoring the weight of the incoming food items, determining, based on the weight of the incoming food items, a prospect indicator indicating the prospect to meet the target criteria for the batches such that each batch fulfils the at least one target criteria, and comparing if the prospect indicator fulfils a pre-defined criteria.

Monitoring dispensation of a substance
A method can include obtaining a first weight measurement of a receptacle and obtaining a second weight measurement of the receptacle. The method can further include calculating a first difference between the first weight measurement and the second weight measurement, resulting in a reference dispensation value. The method can further include obtaining dispensation data, the dispensation data including a measured dispensation value. The measured dispensation value can correspond to a quantity of a substance dispensed from the receptacle, the quantity of the substance passing through a dispensation monitor coupled to the receptacle. The method can further include calculating a second difference between the reference dispensation value and the measured dispensation value. The method can further include determining that the second difference exceeds a threshold and adjusting the dispensation monitor in response to determining that the second difference exceeds the threshold.
Frying unit
A frying unit, comprising an oil pan (1) which is essentially open on top, a transport unit (2), using which a basket (3) is movable from a filling position into the interior of the oil pan (1) and using which the basket (3) is movable from the interior of the oil pan (1) into an emptying position, wherein the oil pan (1) is designed in such a way that it can accommodate multiple baskets (3) simultaneously, and the transport unit (2) is designed in such a way that the baskets (3) are movable independently of one another.
Feeder unit, feeder module comprising feeder units, and method for discharging a constant mass flow of one or more powders into a receiving container
A method for processing pharmaceutical powders, which comprises providing a feeder module including a plurality of feeder units each with a storage hopper, a weighing cell, a conveyer, and a discharge end, connecting the storage hopper to a refilling system with a refilling valve, connecting the refilling valve to a level or weight indicator disposed above the refilling valve, connecting the discharge end to a common receiving container, refilling the storage hopper with a powder intermittently 40 to 80 times per hour, storing data during refilling, transporting powder from the storage hopper with the respective conveyer, and discharging powder from each feeder unit into the common receiving container. During each refilling of the storage hopper, the refilling valve dispenses powder into the storage hopper and, during the step of transporting the powder from the storage hopper, the conveyer is operated according to the data collected during previous refills.
Drive device for carrying and operating a lockable insertion unit in a weighing balance
A drive device (125) is adapted for use in combination with a weighing balance (100). The drive device has a receiving unit (130), an insertion unit (U) and a locking unit (140). The receiving unit is configured to receive the insertion unit. The locking unit is movable between a locking position, in which the insertion unit is constrained from movement, and an unlocking position, in which the movement is not constrained. The locking unit is coupled to the receiving unit in a biasing manner to predispose the locking unit into the locking position. The locking unit is slidably engaged with the receiving unit to allow the locking unit to slide relative to the receiving unit when an external force is applied to move the locking unit into the unlocking position.
HOPPER ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE AND WEIGHING DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
A hopper attachment structure is provided that allows a hopper to be removably attached to a driving unit. The hopper has an outlet in a body thereof and a gate driven to open and close by the driving unit. The outlet of the hopper is allowed to open and close with the gate. The driving unit has an engaging protrusion and a support protrusion. The hopper further has an attachment bracket extending from the body. The attachment bracket has a hook portion engageable with the engaging protrusion and also has a contact portion allowed to contact the support protrusion. The hopper is attachable to the driving unit by having the hook portion of the attachment bracket engaged with the engaging protrusion of the driving unit and by further having the contact portion of the attachment bracket supportably contact the support protrusion of the driving unit.
Precision measurement dispenser
A precision measurement dispenser provides for storage of a granular bulk material in a storage container that is preferably airtight. The granular material is held in a storage container which feeds a dispensing section that is preferably positioned within the storage container. The dispensing section selectively dispenses the ingredient by gravity to a weighting tray of a scale. The ingredient is dispensed by weight. The storage dispensing unit may also include a display and keypad for entry of a desired quantity of ingredient to be dispensed, and optionally which of plural ingredients to be dispensed. A controller can convert a requested volumetric measure to an equivalent weight measure, and dispense by weight in place of volume. The storage dispensing unit further optionally includes pressure control, temperature control, and/or humidity control on the storage container. The dispensing section uses screw, roll, vibration, or shuttle mechanisms for precise dispensing of material.
METHOD TO MOVE CONTAINERS IN A LINE FOR PROCESSING SAID CONTAINERS, AND CORRESPONDING PROCESSING LINE
Method to move containers (C) in a processing line (10) that comprises a station (11) for storing and picking up said containers (C) and a station (12) at least for filling said containers (C), said method providing, in said storage and pick-up station (11), to supply a container-holding tray (15) containing a plurality of said containers (C) disposed upended in said container-holding tray (15) with respect to their mouth (43), and subsequently to upend said containers (C) with the aid of upending means (20) so as to invert the orientation of said containers (C) and make them available with the side of the mouth (43) facing upward so that they can be picked up by extraction means (22).
