The invention involves the incorporation and enablement of multiple interactive elements into high-volume consumables products to increase utility, function and features of the consumable product at minimal incremental cost and adjustment to production and manufacturing processes. The invention further reports processes and compositions that enable consumable products with differentiating features which product would otherwise be deficient for their intended use and application.

Intelligent oven

Techniques for managing an intelligent oven are provided. In one example, an oven system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components. The oven system can also comprise a processor, operably coupled to the memory, and that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise an oven management component that identifies a parameter of a completed bake based on a second parameter of a new bake and shares the parameter with an input device.

DISHWASHER THERMOMETER WITH WIRELESS TEMPERATURE LOGGER AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
20230091693 · 2023-03-23 ·

A dishwasher thermometer captures temperature data of temperature sensed within a dishwasher during a wash cycle. The dishwasher thermometer includes a wireless communication interface that transmits the captured temperature data to one or more of a server and a monitor device. When the captured temperature data indicates that the wash cycle did not achieve defined temperature threshold(s), an alert is generated at the server and/or the monitor device indicating that the wash cycle did not meet appropriate washing conditions. In embodiments, the temperature data may be accessible to a third party for certification of the dishwasher wash cycle.

TEMPERATURE SENSING ASSEMBLY FOR A COOKTOP APPLIANCE
20230079379 · 2023-03-16 ·

A cooktop appliance includes a cooktop panel defining a cooktop surface and an aperture defined through the cooktop surface. A heating element is positioned below the cooktop panel for selectively heating a cooking utensil placed on the cooktop surface and a temperature sensing assembly is configured for monitoring the temperature of the cooking utensil, e.g., to facilitate a closed loop cooking process. The temperature sensing assembly includes a temperature sensor slidably mounted within the aperture of the cooktop panel and a drive member operably coupled to the temperature sensor for selectively moving the temperature sensor between the extended position and the retracted position.

Cooktop appliance temperature sensor with transient temperature correction

A cooktop appliance includes a gas burner, a user input configured to define a power setting of the gas burner, and a grate. The grate includes a sensor finger with a temperature sensor mounted thereto. The temperature sensor includes a first temperature probe extending above a top surface of the sensor finger and a second temperature probe positioned within the sensor finger. The cooktop appliance also includes a controller in communication with the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is configured to transmit a first temperature measurement from the first temperature probe and a second temperature measurement from the second temperature probe to the controller. The controller is configured to determine a temperature of a cooking utensil positioned on the top surface of the sensor finger based on the power setting defined by the user input, the first temperature measurement, and the second temperature measurement.

Low cost container condition monitor

Low-cost techniques for sensing ambient temperatures in a container or package using phase change materials are provided. In one aspect, a temperature sensor is provided. The temperature sensor includes: at least one phase change material configured to transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state upon exposure to temperatures above a predetermined threshold temperature for a given duration. A method of monitoring temperature exposure of a consumer good using the temperature sensor is also provided.
