A camera array, an imaging device and/or a method for capturing image that employ a plurality of imagers fabricated on a substrate is provided. Each imager includes a plurality of pixels. The plurality of imagers include a first imager having a first imaging characteristics and a second imager having a second imaging characteristics. The images generated by the plurality of imagers are processed to obtain an enhanced image compared to images captured by the imagers. Each imager may be associated with an optical element fabricated using a wafer level optics (WLO) technology.
METHOD FOR CREATING PATTERNS
The invention relates in particular to a method for creating patterns in a layer (410) to be etched, starting from a stack comprising at least the layer (410) to be etched and a masking, layer (420) on top of the layer (410) to be etched, the masking layer (420) having at least one pattern (421), the method comprising at least; a) a step of modifying at least one zone (411) of the layer (410) to be etched via ion implantation (430) vertically in line with said at least one pattern (421); b) at least one sequence of steps comprising: b1) a step of enlarging (440) the at least one pattern (421) in a plane in which the layer (410) to be etched mainly extends; b2) a step of modifying at least one zone (411″, 411″) of the layer (410) to be etched via ion implantation (430) vertically in line with the at least one enlarged pattern (421), the implantation being carried out over a depth less than the implantation depth of the preceding, modification step;) c) a step of removing (461, 462) the modified zones (411, 411′, 41″), the removal comprising a step of etching the modified zones (411, 411′, 411″) selectively with respect to the non-modified zones (412) of the layer (410) to be etched.
MARKER
A marker includes a plurality of convex lenses each including a plurality of convex lenses each including a convex surface part on a front side; and a plurality of patterns formed on a rear surface of the plurality of convex lenses, each pattern corresponding to the convex surface part. Each of the plurality of patterns is composed of optically distinguishable first and second parts formed by a surface shape of the rear surface. The second part is disposed on each corresponding convex surface part. A distance between optical axes of the convex lenses which are adjacent is constant. A distance between centers of the second parts which are adjacent is different from the distance between the optical axes.
PROJECTION EXPOSURE DEVICE
A projection exposure device projects exposure light onto a substrate via a microlens array. The projection exposure device includes a scanning exposure unit that moves the microlens array along a scanning direction from one end toward another end of the substrate, and a microlens array shift unit that moves the microlens array in a shift direction intersecting with the scanning direction during movement of the microlens array caused by the scanning exposure unit.
HEAD MOUNTED IMAGING APPARATUS WITH CURVED LENSLET ARRAY
A head-mounted imaging apparatus has a projector that is energizable to project image-bearing light and a light-conditioning element that directs and shapes the image-bearing light from the projector to form a real image plane. A lenslet array is positioned adjacent to the real image plane and optically disposed at substantially one focal length away from a curved mirror, wherein the surface of the curved mirror is substantially spherical. There is a beamsplitter in the path of light from the real image at the lenslet array and disposed to direct at least a portion of the light from the real image toward the curved mirror. The curved mirror directs light from the beamsplitter to form a virtual image for an observer who wears the head-mounted imaging apparatus.
OPTICAL ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL ELEMENT
An optical element is configured to transmit a light flux emitted from a light source having a single light source wavelength, and is formed from a material in which resin and glass fillers are mixed. A difference between respective refractive index change rates (dn/dT) of the resin and the glass fillers relative to a temperature change at least in a vicinity of the light source wavelength becomes 10.5×10.sup.5 or less.
OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICES
A security device includes an array of lenses and a plurality of first and second segments disposed under the array of lenses. At a first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents a first image for viewing without presenting the second image for viewing, and at a second viewing angle different from the first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents for viewing the second image without presenting the first image for viewing. At least one first or second segment can include one or more microstructures or one or more nanostructures configured to produce one or more colors for the first or second image.
Lens Array and Camera Module Including Same
A lens array of an embodiment comprises: a plurality of lenses arranged along an optical axis direction between an object and an image forming plane; a first spacer placed among the plurality of lenses; and an elastic member placed between the lower surface of the first spacer and an upper surface of at least one lens between first and second lenses, which have different widths, face the lower surface of the first spacer, and are arranged side by side along the optical axis direction among the plurality of lenses.
Sensor unit and image processing device
A sensor apparatus includes a photosensitive sensor, a cover, and a moving mechanism. The photosensitive sensor includes a first lens and a second lens which focus on a photosensitive element. The cover includes a first slit arranged on an optical axis of the first lens and a second slit arranged on an optical axis of the second lens. The moving mechanism is configured to move the photosensitive sensor and the cover relative to each other so that the second slit is arranged on the optical axis of the first lens.
PLASTIC COMPOUND LENS FOR HEADLIGHT

The plastic compound lens includes a first lens part including a first light-incident surface and a first shaped surface and made of a first material, and a second lens part including an inside shaped surface and an outside convex-shaped surface and made of a second material. The second lens part extends to surround the first lens part. The first light-incident surface of the first lens part is formed as any one of plane, convex, concave, and aspherical surfaces, and an aspherical surface including an inflection point. The first shaped surface of the first lens part is formed as a surface of any one of concave, convex and aspherical lenses, and an aspherical lens including an inflection point. The inside shaped surface of the second lens part is formed to correspond to the first shaped surface of the first lens part.
