PHYSICAL WATCH HANDS FOR A COMPUTERIZED WATCH
A computerized watch is described that includes a cover that forms an outer surface of the computerized watch, a screen configured to output graphical information for display, a set of physical watch hands positioned between the cover and the screen and configured to present a time of day. One or more computer processors and a memory comprising instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the one or more computer processors to responsive to determining that the computerized watch is operating in a time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical watch hands present the time of day by obscuring a portion of a display region of the screen, and responsive to determining that the computerized watch is not operating in the time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical hands do not obscure the screen.
Electronic timepiece device indicating the time and the azimuth of the sun by means of a single indicator hand
An electronic timepiece device including an electronic processing unit determining first, geolocation parameters and second parameters concerning the current legal standard time, and establishing local horizontal coordinates of the Sun from predetermined calculation rules stored in a memory of the electronic processing unit. The device also has a dial equipped with a casing enclosing all or part of the electronic processing unit and equipped with a display system displaying at least one indicator hand having an orientation that varies over time such that the angle formed between the indicator hand and a first fixed reference axis of the dial is equal, at each instant, to the azimuth of the Sun established by the processing unit, and a time scale calculated by the electronic processing unit and displayed at the periphery of the dial in the form of a plurality of time points positioned, with respect to the first fixed reference axis, as a function of the azimuth of the Sun respectively at the times of which the time points are representative. Thus the indicator needle simultaneously indicates, at each instant, a representation of the relative directions of the Sun and of the cardinal point of the culmination of the Sun and the current legal time.
Digital display and digital time device
A digital display and a digital time device are provided, which includes a housing, a drive assembly, display assemblies and a mainboard assembly. The housing is provided with seven windows arranged to form the shape of the character “”. The mainboard assembly is fixedly connected to the housing and is located behind the windows. Seven curved grooves are provided inside of the drive assembly. The display assemblies include display sheets and pull rods. One end of each pull rod is fixedly connected to the display sheets. The display sheets are slidingly connected to the mainboard assembly. There are seven display assemblies. Each pull rod is slidingly connected to the curved grooves in one-to-one correspondence, and each display sheet is one-to-one correspondence with the windows. The present invention can achieve many advantages, such as low power consumption, great waterproof, strong moisture resistance capabilities and high stability.
DEVICE FOR FASTENING A DISC
A fastening method is for fastening at least one display element of a watch using a fastening device. Indeed, the at least one display element is fastened thanks to the fastening method via the fastening device. For this, it is necessary to provide the at least one display element, at least one movement, and at least one split ring, then to deform the at least one split ring so as to adapt to the at least one display element before fastening the at least one split ring with the at least one display element to the at least one movement.
Symbiotic smartwatch displays
Aspects of the technology provide a symbiotic graphical display on a client device such as a smartwatch. The system includes at least one emissive display element and at least one non-emissive display element. The display elements are arrayed in layers or other configurations such that content or other information is concurrently aligned across the respective display surfaces of the different elements. A first set of content is rendered using the non-emissive display element while a second set of content is rendered using the emissive display element. Depending on characteristics or features of a given content item, that item may be rendered by one or both of the display elements. Certain content may be transitioned from the emissive display element to the non-emissive display element according to a time threshold or other criteria.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND TIMEPIECE
An electronic device includes: a date indicator that includes a letter part and a non-letter part different from the letter part, the non-letter part being a through hole; and a solar battery disposed below the date indicator.
Time display apparatus for multiple time zones
A time display apparatus for indicating time in a plurality of time zones simultaneously, the apparatus includes a case having a compartment enclosed by a cover, the case having a dial member indicating a 12-hour time clock and a 24-hour time clock, a first wheel completing one revolution in 12 hours and coupled to an hour hand, a second wheel completing one revolution in 1 hour and coupled to a multi-zone minute hand having at least two different vertices, and a third wheel completing one revolution in 24 hours and coupled to a multi-zone hour indicator hand having at least two different indicators, wherein each vertex of the multi-zone minute hand indicates a different minute marking on the 12 hour time clock and each indicator of the multi-zone hour indicator hand indicates a different hour marking on the 24 hour time clock corresponding to different time zones.
Interactive and customizable device using magnetic levitation
A magnetic levitation device for levitating a marker or suspending the marker away from the device having a housing having an outer portion and a lower portion. The device has an electromagnetic configuration positioned on disc and the disc can move or rotate the marker at a constant or variable speed. The rotating disc is configured with the electromagnetic configuration and a gear assembly.
