FLUID CIRCUIT AND BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT DEVICE
A fluid circuit of a blood pressure measurement device includes a first cuff connected to a secondary side of a pump that supplies a fluid to a secondary side, a second cuff connected to a secondary side of the first cuff, a first valve provided between the first cuff and the second cuff, the first valve that closes when a differential pressure between the first cuff and the second cuff reaches a predetermined differential pressure, and a fluid resistor provided between the first valve and the second cuff.
SENSOR-OPERATED KITCHEN FAUCET
A sensor-operated kitchen faucet comprises a base, a mixing valve, a control assembly and a spout. The base extends vertically to define an inner space. The mixing valve is disposed in the inner space and communicated to a cold source and a hot source to supply a combined fluid. The control assembly comprises a inlet conduit, a outlet conduit, a cushioning member, a solenoid valve and a sensor. The inlet conduit is connected to the mixing valve to receive the combined fluid, the cushioning member comprises an outer tubing and an inner tubing, and the solenoid valve is electrically connected to the sensor and movably disposed at a connecting port communicated between the outer tubing the inner tubing. The spout is fluidly connected to the outlet conduit of the control assembly through a connecting conduit to supply the combined fluid.
Mixing valves, valve modules, and valve module assemblies
The present disclosure is directed to a mixing valve pressure balancer and temperature controller module, a mixing valve flow diverter module, a modular assembly including the pressure balancer and temperature controller module and the flow diverter module, and a mixing valve including the modular assembly.
Valves including one or more flushing features and related assemblies, systems, and methods
Valve and related assemblies, systems, and methods may include a self-cleaning feature that may be configured to at least partially displace material from a portion of the valve. Such valves may be utilized in a pressure exchanger.
Redundant pneumatic circuit for reliability enhancement of vitrectomy instruments
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for enhancing the reliability of a pneumatically driven surgical tool by providing a redundant, backup pneumatic circuit for supplying the surgical tool with pneumatic pressure at a normal pressure.
Variable drain flow restrictor
A proportioning valve for a reverse osmosis system that controls the production of product water by the differential pressure across the purification membrane. By sensing increasing tank pressure to actuate the proportioning valve, the flow of waste water is restricted. Placement of seals within the cavity of the valve, as well as placement of waste water inlet and outlet ports, protects tension components that provide reverse tank pressure from waste water exposure. A needle valve assembly responsive to an actuating assembly that senses tank pressure removes the need for an inlet tank water port while restricting water flow.
Passive dual modulating regulator for hydrogen generation
A passive dual modulating regulator that responds to a pressure differential between a hydrogen-side and an oxygen-side of one or more proton-exchange membrane (PEM) cells is provided. The passive dual modulating regulator includes a flexible diaphragm that is clamped along its periphery between hemispherical chambers. A bi-directional valve assembly extends through the flexible diaphragm and includes opposing valve plugs for selectively closing the output ports of the respective hemispherical chambers. Large or sustained pressure imbalances between the hydrogen-side and the oxygen-side of a hydrogen generation system are avoided without active control inputs of any kind, and consequently a rupture of the PEM is entirely avoided.
Metering pressure regulating valve
In some examples, a pressure reducing valve includes a valve body defining a defining a flow path and a restricting element within the flow path. A sensing element is configured to modify a position of the restricting element in the flow path. The sensing element defines a first area in fluid communication with the flow path and a second area fluidly isolated from the flow path. The pressure reducing valve includes control circuitry configured to determine a differential pressure over a section of the flow path, determine a position of the restricting element, and determine a flow rate based on the differential pressure and the position of the restricting element.
Exhaust capture devices and methods
A system of controlling the capture of emissions from an exhaust emitter includes a housing including an inlet, a first outlet, and a second outlet; an adapter configured to attach to the exhaust emitter and the inlet of the housing; an attachment assembly coupled to the exhaust emitter, the attachment assembly including at least one leg pivotably coupled to the adapter; at least one valve coupled to the housing; and a control unit capable of communicating with the at least one valve to control the emission of exhaust through the device.
Hybrid Flow and Pressure Regulation
An outlet assembly for hybrid pressure and flow regulation includes a first orifice of a first size, a second orifice of a second size that is larger than the first size, and a mechanism that automatically moves the first orifice between a first position, a second position, and a third position. When the first orifice is in the first position, the flow of gas passes through the first orifice, which regulates a flow rate of the flow of gas through the second orifice. When the first orifice is in the second position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a first specific flow rate. When the first orifice is in the third position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a second specific flow rate.
