AUTOMATIC FILLING OF A FORM WITH FORMATTED TEXT
In some implementations, a device may identify a form field, of a form, that is to be filled with text. The device may determine a formatting for the text that is to be used for filling the form field. The formatting for the text may be determined based on content that is indicative of the formatting that is to be used for filling the form field, or information relating to at least one previous filling of the form field that is associated with a successful submission of the form. The device may modify the text in accordance with the formatting that is determined to obtain formatted text. The device may cause filling of the form field with the formatted text.
Improving the accuracy of a compendium of natural language responses
Using a natural language analysis, it is determined that a compendium requires a natural language response to a natural language query, the compendium comprising a set of stored natural language responses to natural language queries. A relevance of a portion of narrative text to the natural language query is scored according to a query relevance measure, the portion extracted from a corpus of narrative text. The compendium is enhanced according to the query relevance score with information in the portion.
Methods, systems, and media for adaptive presentation of a video content item based on an area of interest
Methods, systems, and media for adaptive presentation of a video content item based on an area of interest are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: causing a video content item to be presented within a viewport having first dimensions in connection with a web page, wherein the video content item is associated with area of interest information corresponding to one or more frames of the video content item; determining that the first dimensions associated with the viewport have changed in which the viewport is currently associated with second dimensions; determining that a modified video content item should be presented within the viewport having the second dimensions in response to determining that the first dimensions associated with the viewport have changed, wherein the modified video content item includes an area of interest based on the area of interest information associated with the video content item and wherein portions of at least one frame of the modified video content item are removed based on the second dimensions of the viewport; and causing the modified video content item to be presented within the viewport having the second dimensions.
Data query method and apparatus
This disclosure provides a data query method and apparatus. The method includes: dividing an object storage system into a plurality of storage spaces based on time slices, establishing a mapping relationship between the storage spaces, the time slices, and operation records, recording time slice information corresponding to a snapshot after generating the snapshot, and implementing services such as a read-only service, a snapshot rollback service, and an object change service based on the snapshot, so as to improve query performance without adding extra storage overheads.
Systems and methods for using linked documents
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are provided for using linked documents. A system may receive, from a computing device, a request for a document. Content of the document may be defined based on state information and stateless information. A system may determine a local replica of the document in a local database. The local replica of the document may be linked to a primary replica of the document. The local replica of the document may include a snapshot of the primary replica of the document. The primary replica of the document may be stored in a remote database which may be accessible through a remote server. The system may subscribe to the primary replica of the document through the remote server, and may provide access to the document to the computing device based at least in part on the subscription to the primary replica of the document.
Avatar-based sports betting
Methods and systems are provided to display a real world event on a client device with avatars. Appropriate parameters for the real world event are provided and participants in the real world event are associated to avatars. As the real world event begins, a server is configured to provide information on the real world event to the client device, and the client device displays a representation of a virtual event using the avatars and the information received from the server.
System and method for integrated surgical table
Integrated table motion includes a device including a control unit and an arm having one or more joints and a distal portion. The control unit is configured to receive a table movement request from a separate table, determine whether to allow the table movement request based on one or more of whether a type of movement in the table movement request is permitted, whether one or more instruments mounted to the device are within a field of view of an imaging device, or whether one or more instruments mounted to the device are withdrawn into respective cannulas, allow the table to perform the table movement request based on the determining; track movement of the table while the table performs the table movement request; and maintain, using the joint(s) and based on the tracked movement of the table, a position and/or an orientation of the distal portion relative to the table.
Automatically assisting conversations using graph database
Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for automatically assisting conversations using a graph database. In order to minimize misunderstanding of words and phrases used by participants during a conversation, phrases from the conversation may be received by conversation assistance application as the conversation takes place. Entities may be extracted from the phrase based on natural language recognition according to a domain context of the participant being assisted. One or more tags may be looked up from a graph database, and may be provided to the participant as a list of hashtags related to the conversation. Links to documents may be extracted based on the tags for the participant for viewing during the conversation.

Hierarchical multi-task term embedding learning for synonym prediction
Due to the high language use variability in real-life, manual construction of semantic resources to cover all synonyms is prohibitively expensive and may result in limited coverage. Described herein are systems and methods that automate the process of synonymy resource development, including both formal entities and noisy descriptions from end-users. Embodiments of a multi-task model with hierarchical task relationship are presented that learn more representative entity/term embeddings and apply them to synonym prediction. In model embodiments, a skip-gram word embedding model is extended by introducing an auxiliary task “neighboring word/term semantic type prediction” and hierarchically organize them based on the task complexity. In one or more embodiments, existing term-term synonymous knowledge is integrated into the word embedding learning framework. Embeddings trained from the multi-task model embodiments yield significant improvement for entity semantic relatedness evaluation, neighboring word/term semantic type prediction, and synonym prediction compared with baselines.
