INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
A pathological image and a primary diagnosis result are obtained from a first terminal via a network, the first terminal being of a first user, the primary diagnosis result being a diagnosis result about the pathological image by the first user. The obtained pathological image and the primary diagnosis result are provided to at least one second terminal via the network, the one second terminal being of at least one second user. A browsing history and an opinion of the second user are obtained from the second terminal via the network, the browsing history at least including information on a displayed area in the pathological image, the opinion of the second user being about the primary diagnosis result based on observation of the pathological image by the second user. The obtained browsing history is estimated, and a reliability score of the obtained opinion is generated.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR POINT OF CARE TESTING
The present invention relates to a method and system for quality compliance, system and operator verification, and process management for point of care biological sample testing systems used in hospitals and other medical delivery environments. Specifically, the present invention may be directed to a computing device configured to generate a plurality of attributes configured to assess a competency level of an operator to operate at least one sample testing instrument, obtain operator derived data pertaining to the operator's ability to operate the at least one sample testing instrument, and determine a competency level of the operator for the at least one sample testing instrument based the plurality of attributes and the operator derived data.
ELECTRONIC PATIENT SITTER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING
An electronic sitter management system coupled to patient surveillance network having a plurality of video cameras, each camera transmitting a stream of surveillance video of a respective patient room. The sitter management system includes at least one sitter management device and a plurality of sitter devices. Each device being assigned a plurality of patient rooms and capable of receiving a plurality of streams of surveillance video for the corresponding plurality of patient rooms and simultaneously displaying a plurality of video images of the corresponding plurality of patient rooms. Each device is also capable of transmitting sitter device availability information to the sitter management device. The sitter management device being capable of recognizing a sitter device being unavailable and reassigning the plurality of patient rooms previously assigned to the unavailable device to other of the plurality of sitter devices that are available.
INFORMATION PROCESSING UNIT, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing unit includes: a diagnostic image input section that inputs the diagnostic image; an operation information obtaining section that obtains display operation history information representing an operation history of a user who controls displaying of the diagnostic image; a query image generation section that extracts a predetermined region of the input diagnostic image to generate a query image; a diagnosed image obtaining section that supplies the generated query image and the display operation history information to a diagnosed image search unit and obtains the diagnosed image obtained as a search result by the diagnosed image search unit; and a display control section that displays the diagnostic image and the obtained diagnosed image for comparison.
SURFACE AND IMAGE INTEGRATION FOR MODEL EVALUATION AND LANDMARK DETERMINATION
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a software program that displays both a volume as images and segmentation results as surface models in 3D. Multiple 2D slices are extracted from the 3D volume. The 2D slices may be interactively rotated by the user to best follow an oblique structure. The 2D slices can “cut” the surface models from the segmentation so that only half of the models are displayed. The border curves resulting from the cuts are displayed in the 2D slices. The user may click a point on the surface model to designate a landmark point. The corresponding location of the point is highlighted in the 2D slices. A 2D slice can be reoriented such that the line lies in the slice. The user can then further evaluate or refine the landmark points based on both surface and image information.
ELECTRONIC DENTAL CHARTING
Systems, methods, electronic devices and computer-readable media for charting dental information are described. The method includes generating or retrieving a dental data set including separately-modifiable parameters defining dental information relative to a base parametric model, the parameters providing information for generating signals for displaying a three-dimensional (3D) representation of at least a portion of a dentition represented by the dental data set; receiving an input via the 3D representation; and based on the received input, adjusting at least one of the parameters.
RIS/PACS INTEGRATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Example integration systems and methods are disclosed and described. An example apparatus includes a processor and a memory at a first system. The example processor is to be configured by program instructions to at least: authenticate, at the first system, an identity of a first user; when the identity of the first user is positively authenticated by the first system, locate a first content requested by the first user at a second system; receive, at the first system, an authorization from the second system for the first user to access the first content at the second system; when the first user is positively authorized by the second system, provide, via a first viewer, access to the first content at the second system; and facilitate, via the first viewer, manipulation of the first content at the second system according to an access rule for the first content at the second system.
MEDICAL BRACELET STANDARD
Various embodiments described herein relate to a wearable device for monitoring health parameters of a patient. According to various embodiments, a wearable device, associated mobile device, or other user device may receive health parameters of the user obtained by at least one sensor configured to sense one or more health parameters from the user; receive an identification of a medical alert to be provided to third parties with respect to the user, persist the identification of the medical alert in a memory of the user device, and repeatedly transmit at least one of the identification of the medical alert and an indication of the availability of the medical alert via a communications interface of the user device configured to communicate wirelessly with nearby reader devices.
CAREGIVER CONNECTED WEARABLE
In various embodiments, a caregiver module is provided for use with a patient medical device, including a sensor to obtain a sensor signal related to the use of the patient medical device; an analog-to-digital converter to convert the sensor signal to corresponding sensor data; and a controller to transmit the sensor data to a wearable device, wherein the sensor data is transmitted in the same form as created by the converter. Various embodiments provide a wearable device for processing sensor data received from the caregiver module, including: memory storing processing instructions for interpreting sensor data of multiple types; and a processor to: receive configuration information associated with the caregiver module, receive sensor data of a first type from the caregiver module, and execute the processing instructions based on the configuration information, wherein the configuration information alters the operation of the processing instructions to interpret sensor data of the first type.
Heat Transfer in a Polymerization Reactor
A process comprises polymerizing an olefin monomer in a loop reactor in the presence of a catalyst and a diluent, and producing a slurry comprising solid particulate olefin polymer and diluent. The Biot number is maintained at or below about 3.0 within the loop reactor during the polymerizing process. The slurry in the loop reactor forms a slurry film having a film coefficient along an inner surface of the reactor wall, and the film coefficient is less than about 500 BTU.Math.hr.sup.−1.Math.ft.sup.−2.Math.° F..sup.−1.
