The processor implements the method, including receiving a voice input and/or capturing an image, and analyze the first voice input or the image to determine at least one of a user's intent, emotion, and situation based on predefined keywords and expressions, identifying a category based on the input, selecting first information based on the category, selecting and outputting a first query prompting confirmation of output of the first information, detect a first responsive input to the first query, and when a condition to output the first information is satisfied, output a second query, detecting a second input responsive to the second query, and selectively outputting the first information based on the second input.
Method and system for measuring a height map of a surface of an object, and computer program therefor
In a method and system for measuring a height map of a surface of an object, the following steps are carried out. Height maps of different sections of the surface of the object are measured, using an optical profilometer having a field of view covering an individual section, wherein each height map comprises height data. The measured height maps are grouped into different sets of height maps, wherein within each set each one of the height maps of the set has a valid overlap to at least one other height map of the set, and wherein each height map belongs to one set and does not have a valid overlap with any height map of another set. Within each set, the measured height maps are stitched to a sub-composite stitched height map. The sub-composite stitched height maps are combined to a composite height map.
MONITORING SYSTEM
A monitoring system can include an electronic device operably coupled with a vehicle. One or more sensors operably can be operably coupled with the electronic device. A user interface can be operably coupled with the electronic device. A controller can be operably coupled with the electronic device. The controller can be configured to receive data from the one or more sensors and provide an instruction to the electronic device based on the data from the one or more sensors, wherein the instruction is related to mitigating an upcoming information of interest along a route.
Text location method and apparatus
Aspects of the present invention provide a new text location technique, which can be applied to general handwriting detection at a variety of levels, including characters, words, and sentences. The inventive technique is efficient in training deep learning systems to locate text. The technique works for different languages, for text in different orientations, and for overlapping text. In one aspect, the technique's ability to separate overlapping text also makes the technique useful in application to overlapping objects. Embodiments take advantage of a so-called skyline appearance that text tends to have. Recognizing a skyline appearance for text can facilitate the proper identification of bounding boxes for the text. Even in the case of overlapping text, discernment of a skyline appearance for words can help with the proper identification of bounding boxes for each of the overlapping text words/phrases, thereby facilitating the separation of the text for purposes of recognition.

Skeleton-based action recognition using bi-directional spatial-temporal transformer
A bi-directional spatial-temporal transformer neural network (BDSTT) is trained to predict original coordinates of a skeletal joint in a specific frame through relative relationships of the skeletal joint to other joints and to the state of the skeletal joint in other frames. Obtain a plurality of frames comprising coordinates of the skeletal joint and coordinates of other joints. Produce a spatially masked frame by masking the original coordinates of the skeletal joint. Provide the specific frame, the spatially masked frame, and at least one more frame to a coordinate prediction head of the BDSTT. Obtain, from the coordinate prediction head, a prediction of coordinates for the skeletal joint. Adjust parameters of the BDSTT until a mean-squared error, between the prediction of coordinates for the skeletal joint and the original coordinates of the skeletal joint, converges.
ACOUSTIC BIOMETRIC IMAGING SYSTEM WITH ACOUSTIC IMPEDANCE MATCHED OPAQUE MASKING LAYER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
An acoustic biometric imaging system comprising: a transparent device member having a first face to be touched by a finger surface of a user, and a second face opposite the first face, the transparent device member having a first acoustic impedance; a first ultrasonic transducer acoustically coupled to the second face of the transparent device member in a first transducer region for receiving acoustic signals conducted by the transparent device member from a finger touch region laterally spaced apart from the first transducer region, the first ultrasonic transducer having a second acoustic impedance; and an opaque masking layer arranged between the transparent device member and the first ultrasonic transducer in the first transducer region, the opaque masking layer having a third acoustic impedance between the first acoustic impedance and the second acoustic impedance.
Vehicle information detection method, method for training detection model, electronic device and storage medium
A vehicle information detection method, a method for training a detection model, an electronic device and a storage medium are provided, and relates to the technical field of artificial intelligence, in particular to the technical field of computer vision and deep learning. The method includes: performing a first target detection operation based on an image of a target vehicle, to obtain a first detection result for target information of the target vehicle; performing an error detection operation based on the first detection result, to obtain error information; and performing a second target detection operation based on the first detection result and the error information, to obtain a second detection result for the target information.

SPATIAL REGIME CHANGE DETECTION FOR VIDEO ANALYTICS
In one embodiment, a device tracks an object in video data captured by one or more cameras. The device represents spatial characteristics of the object over time as one or more timeseries. The device associates different portions of the one or more timeseries with behavioral regimes of the object. The device provides a portion of the video data for display as part of an alert that is based on a rate of change of transitions between the behavioral regimes of the object.
