SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXCHANGING PAYMENT DATA BETWEEN A CASH REGISTER AND A DEVICE FOR ACQUIRING ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS
A payment system including an electronic cash register associated with a physical point of sale of a merchant; and a payment acquisition device for advantageously cooperating with a payment issuing device of a client via a first link. Such a payment acquisition device transmits payment transaction messages (MSGT) to a bank server via a second link in order to implement electronic payment transactions. The payment acquisition device is configured to include a mechanism for capturing a view of any invoice issued by an electronic cash register, and the processing unit of such a payment acquisition device is configured to trigger the capture of at least one digital representation of the invoice and to automatically detect and determine therefrom the payment amount of the relevant financial transaction.
VISUAL PROGRAMMING OF MACHINE LEARNING STATE MACHINES
Implementations are disclosed for facilitating visual programming of machine learning state machines. In various implementations, one or more graphical user interfaces (GUIs) may be rendered on one or more displays. Each GUI may include a working canvas on which a plurality of graphical elements corresponding to at least some of a plurality of available logical routines are manipulable to define a machine learning state machine. One or more of the available logical routines may include logical operations that process data using machine learning model(s). Two or more at least partially redundant logical routines that include overlapping logical operations may be identified, and overlapping logical operations of the two or more at least partially redundant logical routines may be merged into a consolidated logical routine. At least some of the logical operations that were previously downstream from the overlapping logical operations may be logically coupled with the consolidated logical routine.
Real-time transaction and receipt processing systems
A transaction processing system for performing one or more steps of a method is disclosed. The system may receive user receipt preferences including rules specifying whether or not a user wants a receipt. The system may also receive (i) a purchase authorization request associated with an attempted purchase and (ii) user device location data. The system may further set a receipt flag corresponding to the receipt status. If the system determines that the transaction is to be authorized, it attaches the receipt flag to the authorization message and transmits the authorization message to the merchant. Alternatively, if the system determines that the transaction is not to be authorized, it attaches the receipt flag to the cancellation message and transmits the cancellation message to the merchant.
Computerized methods and computer systems for verification of transactions
When a payment transaction made by a user, a reminder data file is created including reminder items associated with the payment transaction. At least one of the reminder items is an image. Subsequently, a transaction statement listing one or more payment transactions is provided to the user, in a form in which each listed payment transaction is associated with an embedded link to the corresponding reminder data file, which permits the user to access the reminder data file. Thus, a user who is unable to recognize a payment transaction on the transaction statement, can use the statement to access the corresponding reminder items, to provide the user with a reminder of the details of the transaction.

Printer
According to an embodiment, a printer includes a printer unit configured to print images on paper, a connector connectable to a detachable storage medium, and a controller. The controller is configured to acquire time information from the storage medium when the storage medium is connected to connector, and then store output information in the storage medium. The output information includes device information related to a print function of the printer unit and the acquired timing information in association with each other. The printer may lack an internal clock yet still output information associated with time information.
PRINTING SUBSTRATE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURE, METHOD OF USE, AND COMPUTER SYSTEM
A receipt roll for a receipt printer of a point of sale system, the receipt roll has a substrate for the printing of receipt information by the receipt printer, and at least one near field RF communicator carried by the substrate and configured to store a unique identifier for communicating via near field communications to a near Held communication device in near field range.
Method and Printer Driver Unit for Performing Transaction by Automatically Transmitting Data to EDC Terminal
The present disclosure is related to a printing driver unit, which discloses method and printer driver unit for performing a transaction by automatically transmitting data to an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) terminal. Method includes receiving, by printer driver unit associated with host computing device, first print request including first data related to purchase, from host computing device. Further, the printer driver unit extracts final transaction amount from first data and determines status of EDC terminal upon extracting final transaction amount. When EDC terminal is determined to be in first state, the printer driver unit generates a second print request including extracted final transaction amount and transmits the generated second print request to EDC terminal to facilitate automatic insertion of final transaction amount in EDC terminal to initiate payment transaction. Embodiments herein helps in auto-populating final transaction amount in EDC terminal, without the help of vendor specific billing system.
System, Method, and Computer Program Product for Generating Digital Receipts
A method, system, and computer program product is provided for generating digital receipts. The method includes receiving, through a first communication channel, a transaction request message from a merchant system for a transaction between a consumer and the merchant system using an account identifier, assigning a transaction identifier to the transaction, storing the first transaction data in association with the transaction identifier in at least one data storage device, receiving, through a second communication channel, digital receipt data comprising a digital receipt object and second transaction data, processing the transaction using the account identifier, determining the transaction identifier based on the second transaction data by matching the second transaction data to the first transaction data in the at least one data storage device, and storing the digital receipt object in association with the transaction identifier in the at least one data storage device or at least one other storage device.
System and method for point of sale transaction logging
The present disclosure generally relates to a method and a hardware and software system for collecting data from retail point of sale. The hardware connects to a wide variety of barcode scanners and receipt printers. Collected data is transmitted to a cloud-based infrastructure backend system using a wireless internet connection built into the hardware. The collected data can be processed to extract item-level transaction information, and estimate the price and in-stock status of items in particular shops. A search engine can be provided using this data, which allows a customer to discover which nearby shop has an item of interest in stock. A targeted advertising system that complements this search service is also presented. The data can be used by retailers and manufacturers for business analysis and optimization.
