TEXT MESSAGE CAPABLE ALARM SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to a text or SMS enabled alarm system. The system, or method for signal transformation having at least one sensor capable of producing at least one trigger signal. The at least one trigger signal capable of being transmitted over at least one communication network to a computing device that monitors the sensors. A computing device can be coupled to the at least one communication network for receiving and/or sending the trigger signal. At least one transmission service unit can also be coupled to the computing device for transmitting a notice or status signal created by the computing device, in a text or SMS format. The computing device coupled to at least one text to DTMF conversion unit, and the DTMF conversion unit being configured to converting a DTMF signal into a text or SMS message for transmission via the at least one transmission service.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
A control system includes: an input receiver that receives an input from a user; and a controller that, if a security system is set in a notification mode, brings the input receiver into a cancellation preparation state in response to a sensor being changed to a predetermined state. The notification mode is a mode in which a notification is provided after a predetermined time period has elapsed since the sensor has changed to the predetermined state. The cancellation preparation state is a state in which a cancellation input for cancelling a setting of the notification mode is receivable. The controller cancels the setting of the notification mode when the cancellation input is received by the input receiver in the cancellation preparation state.
SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, SURVEILLANCE APPARATUS, SURVEILLANCE METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORYCOMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A surveillance apparatus (100) includes a feature value storage apparatus (200) that associates and stores a feature value of a person belonging to the same group, a detection unit (102) that detects an approach of a person not belonging to the same group to the person belonging to the same group within a reference distance by processing a captured image by using the feature value, and an output unit (104) that performs a predetermined output by using a detection result of the detection unit (102).
SYSTEMS TO INFER IDENTITIES OF PERSONS OF INTEREST RAPIDLY AND ALERT FIRST RESPONDERS
Systems, devices, and technical methods of the present disclosure leverage digital visitor logs from confinement facilities to identify people of interest that may be involved in incidents to which first responders are dispatched. When a phone call is received at phone public safety access point, a first query including a name associated with the call is transmitted to a digital visitor log for a confinement facility. A digital response to the first query identifies a visitee who was visited by a visitor by that name while the visitee was in confinement. The visitee's name is then transmitted in a second query to a digital repository containing release records; a digital response indicates the visitee was released before the call was received. An electronic notification that identifies the visitee is transmitted to a device associated with an agent who is responding to the call.
Intelligent emergency response for multi-tenant dwelling units
Methods and systems including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving, for a multi-tenant dwelling unit (MDU), a map of the MDU, where the map includes locations corresponding to multiple sensors at the MDU and defines multiple sub-areas of the MDU, receiving sensor data from one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors, where the sensor data is indicative of a fire event at the MDU, determining, from the sensor data, one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas included in the fire event, generating, based on the sensor data, a targeted fire event response for the one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas of the MDU, and providing, to the one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas, the targeted fire event response.
Processing alarm signals
Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for processing alarm signals are presented. In some embodiments, a mobile device may be registered with a security system that is installed at a premises. Subsequently, an alarm trigger associated with the security system may be received. Based on receiving the alarm trigger, the location of the mobile device may be determined. A response to the alarm trigger then may be determined based on the location of the mobile device.
System for managing personal safety
A personal safety management system (100) comprising at least one portable communication device (200) communicatively connected to a wireless communication network (400); and a central computing device (500) communicatively connected to the wireless communication network (400). The at least one portable communication device (200) is configured to enable the activation of an alarm condition by a user (700) and transmitting data on the activation of the alarm condition to the central computing device (500). The central computing device (500) is configured to receive the data on the activation of the alarm condition from the at least one portable communication device (200). Furthermore, the central computing device (500) is configured to activate the alarm condition at the end of a predetermined time delay after the activation of a first operating element (210) on the communication device (200). In one embodiment, the portable communication device comprises a second operating element (220) and is configured to input, from the second operating element (220), extension data indicating the extension of the predetermined delay, and to transmit the extension data to the central computing device (500); and the central computing device (500) is configured to extend the predetermined delay based on the extension data.
Method and system for situational awareness for emergency response
Disclosed are systems and methods for sending emergency alerts. In some embodiments, sensors and wearable devices may trigger and send the emergency alerts and/or warning signals via available communication devices. Multi-media emergency alerts are also disclosed that include situational awareness information for effective and efficient emergency response.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DOOR LOCK
A door lock control device comprises: a door lock interface for communicating with a door lock; an imaging device; a controller for processing images to be acquired through the imaging device; and a storage medium. The controller determines each of first and second objects in the images as being either authorized or unauthorized depending on whether each of the first and second objects matches authentication data read from the storage medium, and controls the door lock through a door lock interface by referring to a distance between the first and second objects determined from the images when the first object is determined as being authorized and the second object is determined as being unauthorized.
MONITORING DEVICE, MONITORING METHOD, AND PROGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM
A monitoring device is configured to include an image data acquiring unit, a detecting unit, and a notifying unit. The image data acquiring unit acquires image data obtained by imaging a work area, and information relating to the position in which the image data were captured. The detecting unit detects, from the image data, at least either an unsafe behavior of a worker in the work area, or an unsafe environment around the worker, as an unsafe condition. The notifying unit notifies a terminal of the unsafe condition detected by the detecting unit, and the information relating to the position in which the unsafe condition is detected.
