Vehicle information directional transmission methods and devices
A system configured for vehicle communication includes a first smart apparatus associated with a first vehicle having a first horn and configured to acquire a first target information and a transmission direction information; a first horn control portion embedded in the first vehicle and configured to control the first horn in the first vehicle to send a first sound wave signal modulated by the first target information to a second vehicle based on the transmission direction information; and a second smart apparatus associated with the second vehicle and configured to receive the first sound wave signal and demodulate the first sound wave signal to obtain the first target information.
Sound transducer
A sound transducer has a diaphragm cup, a transducer element, and a housing, the diaphragm cup having a diaphragm and a wall. The diaphragm, the wall, and at least one housing part are formed in one piece as a fiber-plastic composite component. At least one first region of the fiber-plastic composite component is reinforced with fibers, and at least one second region of the fiber-plastic composite component is free of fibers, so that waves in the fiber-plastic composite component are at least partly reflected at a transition from the at least one first region to the at least one second region.

High-power ultrasound emitter design
Disclosed herein a method of producing an ultrasound that includes defining a set of criteria for an ultrasound emitter comprising a plate. The set of criteria includes a power output criterion, a frequency criterion and number of nodes for a resonance mode of the plate, a focus criterion, and a durability criterion. The method includes determining an outline and a thickness range for the plate, based on the set of criteria. The method includes using topology optimization to determine internodal zone dimensions for the plate, based on the set of criteria, the outline, and the thickness range. The method includes manufacturing the plate according to the internodal zone dimensions.

VARIABLE THICKNESS DIAPHRAGM FOR A WIDEBAND ROBUST PIEZOELECTRIC MICROMACHINED ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PMUT)
A diaphragm for a piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer (PMUT) is presented having resonance frequency and bandwidth characteristics which are decoupled from one another into independent variables. Portions of at least the piezoelectric material layer and backside electrode layer are removed in a selected pattern to form structures, such as ribs, in the diaphragm which retains stiffness while reducing overall mass. The patterned structure can be formed by additive, or subtractive, fabrication processes.
