NETWORK-ENABLED SIGNALING DEVICE SYSTEM FOR SPORTING EVENTS
A system and method for providing network-enabled signaling devices for sporting events are disclosed. An example embodiment is configured for: detecting an event at a sporting activity by use of a signal generator with a data processor and a sensor subsystem, the event detection being triggered by a sensor of the sensor subsystem detecting a signal exceeding a pre-defined threshold; generating a signal message including information indicative of the event detection; establishing, by use of the data processor of the signal generator, a connection with a data network; sending the signal message to a message broker via the data network; and causing the message broker to forward the signal message to subscribed subscriber platforms.

TOOT SUITE WHISTLE PACK
A set of two or more whistles. Each whistle of the set sounds differently from each other based on a different type of sound or a different value of a characteristic of sound common to whistles of the set. Sound characteristics may include but not limited to pitch, quality, loudness, and/or duration. Each whistle in the set may be different in appearance from each other in the set. Appearance characteristics may include but not limited to color, numbering, design, light up features, size, and/or shape. Alternatively, the whistles in a set may have a common appearance characteristic, but each whistle may have its own value of the common appearance characteristic. Additional element(s) such as lanyards or mouthpieces may be added to whistles of a set to distinguish them from each other. The set of whistles may be included in a kit having a box for removably storing the whistles.

Self-defense device
A self-defense device includes a body, a self-defense spray canister within the body, a whistle coupled to the body and the canister, and a light source within the body. The body includes a longitudinal bore and a defense ring extending annularly around the body. The ring includes an upper surface, a lower surface including an abrasive area for scraping a body surface, and an interior receptacle for collecting material scraped from the body surface. The canister is disposed within the longitudinal bore and includes a nozzle for discharging the self-defense fluid. The whistle includes a mouthpiece and a housing coupled to the spray canister. The housing includes a quick release mechanism for removably attaching the housing to the body and maintaining the canister in a fixed position within the housing. The mouthpiece is pivotally connected to the housing enabling pivoting about the housing to provide access to the nozzle.

Aglet Whistle
An aglet with an integrated whistle is presented. The aglet with an integrated whistle consists of a modified aglet body and a whistle block. The aglet body is modified with whistle components consisting of a whistle window and a whistle bore. The whistle block is installed within the whistle bore, along the mouthpiece end of the aglet body such that the whistle block is positioned and engaged to the whistle window to form a duct-style or fipple-style type whistle. The aglet body is then installed along any suitable clothes wear cord to serve as a wearable whistle accessory suited for signaling or animal calling.
