Methods for calibrating portioning apparatus
The calibrating system 100 includes a conveyance system 102 for carrying work products 104 arranged in multiple lanes extending along the conveyor to be trimmed and/or cut into portions P. A scanner 110 scans the work product and a cutter system 120 consisting of one or more cutters are arranged in an array or series of cutter assemblies for cutting the work products into end pieces P of desired sizes or other physical parameters. A processor/computer 150, using a scanning program or portioning program, determines how the work product may be portioned into one or more end piece product sets. The processor/computer using the portioning software then functions as a controller to control the cutter system 120 to portion the workpiece 104 according to the selected end product/pieces P.

OBTAINING CALIBRATION DATA OF A CAMERA
According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory connected to the at least one processor. The at least one memory stores program instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to determine based on at least one indicator that a camera connected to the apparatus is in a dark environment, initiate a calibration sequence of the camera in response to determining based on the at least one indicator that the camera connected to the apparatus is in a dark environment, capture, during the calibration sequence, multiple images with the camera with different sets of shooting parameters, cause analysis of the captured images to obtain camera calibration data, and store the camera calibration data in a memory of the apparatus.
Method of measuring thickness of a ultra-thin film
Disclosed is a method of calculating a thickness of an ultra-thin film having a nm-order thickness based on measuring a thickness of each of ultra-thin films having different thicknesses by using a first thickness measurement method with length-unit traceability and separately measuring the thickness of each of the ultra-thin films having different thicknesses by using a second thickness measurement method with offset traceability.
DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR FLUID MEASURING DEVICE
A method and a device for calibrating a measuring device configured to measure a liquid (MX) comprising colloidal particles. A calibrating function is selected among a plurality of fitting functions. A group of fitting functions are constructed by utilizing different combinations of measurement data. The calibration function is the one with the smallest maximum error.
