A magnet fixing implement for fixing a magnet for rotation angle detection, attached to a rotation center portion of an indicator needle of an analog meter, includes a main body, a magnet holder provided on an upper surface of the main body, and configured to hold the magnet at a rotation center of the indicator needle, a slit formed in the main body in a flat shape perpendicular to the rotation center, and configured to accommodate the rotation center portion of the indicator needle, a rotation shaft holder provided below the slit of the main body, and configured to hold a rotation shaft of the indicator needle, and an indicator needle restricting portion protruding toward an outer side from an outer peripheral edge of the main body, and configured to restrict a rotation of the indicator needle with respect to the main body.
System and method for calibrating a vision system with respect to a touch probe
A calibration fixture that enables more accurate calibration of a touch probe on, for example, a CMM, with respect to the camera. The camera is mounted so that its optical axis is approximately or substantially parallel with the z-axis of the probe. The probe and workpiece are in relative motion, along a plane defined by orthogonal x and y axes, and optionally the z-axis and/or and rotation R about the z-axis. The calibration fixture is arranged to image from beneath the touch surface of the probe and, via a 180-degree prism structure, to transmit light from the probe touch point along the optical axis to the camera. Alternatively, two cameras respectively view the fiducial location relative to the CMM arm and the probe location when aligned on the fiducial. The fixture can define an integrated assembly with an optics block and a camera assembly.
System and method for calibrating a vision system with respect to a touch probe
A calibration fixture that enables more accurate calibration of a touch probe on, for example, a CMM, with respect to the camera. The camera is mounted so that its optical axis is approximately or substantially parallel with the z-axis of the probe. The probe and workpiece are in relative motion, along a plane defined by orthogonal x and y axes, and optionally the z-axis and/or and rotation R about the z-axis. The calibration fixture is arranged to image from beneath the touch surface of the probe and, via a 180-degree prism structure, to transmit light from the probe touch point along the optical axis to the camera. Alternatively, two cameras respectively view the fiducial location relative to the CMM arm and the probe location when aligned on the fiducial. The fixture can define an integrated assembly with an optics block and a camera assembly.

A positioning apparatus includes: an upper unit that includes a spherical body, a retainer part that retains the spherical body, and an upper plate part provided on the retainer part and adapted to carry a carried object; a lower unit that includes a lower plate part on which the upper unit is mounted and a guide part that marks a region of movement of the upper unit on the lower plate part; and a tilting structure that tilts the region of movement relative to a horizontal plane and guides the upper unit, on which the carried object is not mounted, toward a reference position located on a lower side of a tilt.

A pivot mechanism for guiding in rotation comprises a mobile element connected to a fixed element through flexible connections; with the flexible elements being configured to guide the mobile element according to a rotational movement in a plane, around a pivoting axis perpendicular to the plane; with each of the flexible connections comprising an intermediary junction provided with an expansion slot, the expansion slot being configured to expand during the rotation of the mobile element, so that the mobile element can pivot according to a second angular amplitude that is greater than a first angular amplitude achieved without said expansion slot; with the intermediary junctions being connected to one another by a coupling member; each of the coupling members being configured so as to prevent a movement out of the plane and a lateral movement in the plane of the mobile element. The pivot mechanism has a very high rotational amplitude.

MODULAR UTILITY SYSTEM
A kit of parts for use in demountably configuring a variety of structural assemblies. A kit may comprise a plurality of cylindrical structural components configured for engagement with various types of male connector components along the sides or at the ends of the cylindrical structural components, there provided for demountable engagement of a female-end socket component at the end of another cylindrical structural component. The kit may additionally comprise components for one or more of roller carriage assemblies and/or one or more of sliding carriage assemblies configured for rolling or sliding movement along rail assemblies comprising a plurality of cylindrical, square, rectangular, or octagonal track components. The rail assemblies may be supported by bases comprising the cylindrical structural components and other components such as weight components, as well as threaded foot components or threaded caster components on which the rail assemblies can be adjustably levelled.
Apparatus and method for providing linear motion of a device
A system includes a compound flexure having a frame, a flexure, and a post flexure. The frame has an axis, and the flexure is located within the frame. The flexure is movable relative to the frame, and the frame and the flexure form at least part of a monolithic structure. The post flexure extends along the axis and engages the flexure. The system also includes a device coupled to the flexure and configured to move with the flexure relative to the frame. The system further includes an actuator coupled to the flexure and configured to move the flexure and the device relative to the frame.

A system includes a compound flexure having a frame, a flexure, and a post flexure. The frame has an axis, and the flexure is located within the frame. The flexure is movable relative to the frame, and the frame and the flexure form at least part of a monolithic structure. The post flexure extends along the axis and engages the flexure. The system also includes a device coupled to the flexure and configured to move with the flexure relative to the frame. The system further includes an actuator coupled to the flexure and configured to move the flexure and the device relative to the frame.
