Direct current relay
The present disclosure relates to a direct current relay, and more specifically, to a direct current relay having a movable assembly with improved contact pressure. The direct current relay according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a pair of fixed contacts, and a movable contact which is moved vertically by an electromagnetic force to contact or be separated from the pair of fixed contacts, wherein an upper yoke and a lower yoke are respectively provided on the upper and lower portions of the movable contact, a contact spring is provided on the lower portion of the lower yoke, and the lower yoke is pressed by the contact spring to move the movable contact.
Superconducting switch
The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and circuits for reducing switch transition time of superconductor switches. In some embodiments, an electrical circuit includes: (i) an input component configured to generate heat in response to an electrical input; and (ii) a first superconducting component thermally-coupled to the input component. The electrical circuit is configured such that, in the absence of the electrical input, at least a portion of the first superconducting component is maintained in a non-superconducting state in the absence of the electrical input; and, in response to the electrical input, the first superconducting component transitions to a superconducting state.
Switching device and method for operating a switching device
A switching device includes: a first terminal contact; a first fixed contact arranged at the first terminal contact; a contact bridge; a contact bridge carrier arranged at the contact bridge and having a barrier; a first movable contact arranged at the contact bridge; a second terminal contact; a second fixed contact arranged at the second terminal contact; a second movable contact arranged at the contact bridge; and a magnetic drive assembly including a coil and an armature, the armature being coupled to the contact bridge. The first fixed contact is in contact with the first movable contact in a switched-on state of the switching device. The first fixed contact is free of contact with the first movable contact in a switched-off state of the switching device. The second fixed contact is in contact with the second movable contact in the switched-on state of the switching device.
Electromagnetic relay
The electromagnetic relay comprises an auxiliary fixed terminal that has a configuration different from that of a fixed terminal and includes an auxiliary external input/output terminal and an auxiliary external output/input terminal that can be electrically connected to the auxiliary external input/output terminal. The electromagnetic relay comprises an auxiliary movable terminal that has a configuration different from that of a movable terminal and can electrically connect the auxiliary external input/output terminal and the auxiliary external output/input terminal.
Base plate, electronic component, and method
A base plate for an electronic component, in particular an electronic relay, has a plate-shaped base body, in particular made of plastic, and at least one electrical contact. The electrical contact fully extends through the base body. At one end the electrical contact forms an electrical terminal of the electronic component, in particular of the relay. At another end the electrical contact has an electrically conductive connection section which can be connected to a circuit board without soldering, in particular by being pressed into the circuit board, to form a permanent electrical connection.
Control apparatus, operation unit, and electronic apparatus
A control apparatus includes a main body unit, a plurality of moving members each of which is movably supported by the main body unit, a magneto rheological fluid provided between the main body unit and each of the plurality of moving members or between each of the plurality of moving members, and one magnetic field generator configured to apply a magnetic field to the magneto rheological fluid.

Relay
A relay includes a movable contact piece having a first movable contact and a second movable contact, a first fixed terminal having a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal having a second fixed contact, a drive device configured to move the movable contact piece, and the wall portion disposed inside the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact in a longitudinal direction. At least a part of the wall portion is disposed at a position beyond the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact toward the movable contact piece in a moving direction of the movable contact piece. The movable contact piece has a shape so as to avoid the wall portion in a contact state where the first movable contact is in contact with the first fixed contact and the second movable contact is in contact with the second fixed contact.
Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay includes a first movable contact piece, a moving member, a coil, and a movable iron core. The moving member holds the first movable contact piece. The movable iron core is connected to the moving member and is configured to move by a magnetic force generated by the coil. The moving member is made of resin having electrical insulation. The moving member includes a first member and a second member. The second member is connected to the first member by snap fitting. The first member includes a first protrusion. The second member includes a second main body, a first locking portion, and a first arm. The first locking portion locks to the first protrusion. The first arm connects the second main body and the first locking portion. A thickness of the first arm is smaller than a thickness of the first locking portion.
Faceplate remote control device for use in a load control system
A faceplate remote control device is attached to a wall-mounted mechanical light switch that has a toggle actuator. The faceplate remote control device includes a toggle indicator that detects operation of the toggle actuator of the mechanical switch. The toggle indicator causes the generation of an indication of detected operation of the toggle actuator. The toggle indicator comprises a sliding member that is configured to move with the toggle actuator. The toggle indicator may comprise an obstruction detection device that includes an infrared (IR) transmitter and an IR receiver. The faceplate remote control device includes a control circuit and a wireless communication circuit. The control circuit is configured to cause the wireless communication circuit to transmit one or more messages in response to detecting operation of the toggle actuator of the mechanical switch.
