INTERCHANGEABLE END EFFECTOR AND STERILE BARRIER
20220409303 · 2022-12-29 ·

Systems and methods for changing an end effector are provided. A robot flange may have a first receiver and a first electrical connection. An end effector may have a second receiver, a second electrical connection, and a locking assembly. The locking assembly may be configured to releasably secure the end effector to the robot flange. A connector may have an interface and an electrical connector for transferring at least one of power and data from the first electrical connection to the second electrical connection. The interface may be received by the first receiver and the second receiver when the connector is positioned between the robot flange and the end effector and the locking assembly secures the end effector to the robot flange.

INTERCHANGEABLE END EFFECTOR AND STERILE BARRIER

Systems and methods for changing an end effector are provided. A connecting plate may have a first side, a second side opposite the first side, and a kinematic interface. The kinematic interface may include at least one projection extending from both the first side and the second side. A robot flange may have a first kinematic receiver including at least one recess for receiving a corresponding projection of the at least one projection of the first side. An end effector may have a second kinematic receiver and a locking assembly. The second kinematic receiver may include at least one recess for receiving a corresponding projection of the at least one projection of the second side. The locking assembly may be configured to releasably secure the end effector to the robot flange.

An electrical connector including a compressible lossy member is provided. The electrical connector comprises an insulative member, a plurality of terminals supported by the insulative member and disposed in a row along a row direction, and a compressible lossy member disposed in a recess of the insulative member. The lossy member includes a body portion elongated in the row direction and a plurality of projections extending from the body portion. The projections of the lossy member project toward and make contact with contact surfaces of first terminals of the plurality of terminals. At least a part of the body portion is compressible and is in a state of compression when the projections are pressed against the first terminals.

Wiring harness for an airbag module of a vehicle occupant safety system, airbag module, vehicle cabling and vehicle occupant safety system having a wiring harness of this kind and a method of production

The invention relates to a wiring harness (10) for an airbag module of a vehicle occupant safety system, particularly for a driver's airbag module, having a connector (11) for connecting to a pyrotechnic igniter of the airbag module, at least one module connecting cable (12) connected to the connector (11) for connecting the connector (11) to a vehicle wiring harness, and at least one actuator unit (13) having a pyrotechnic actuator (17) and an actuator connecting cable (14) which is formed integrally with the actuator unit (13) and is connected to the connector (11). The invention further relates to an airbag module, vehicle cabling and a vehicle occupant safety system having a wiring harness of this kind and to a method of production.

Elevated equipment installation apparatus

Described, herein, is an installation apparatus and method which may permit the safe and rapid mounting of an electrical device (e.g., a Wi-Fi access point or a surveillance camera) onto an elevated support surface (e.g., a wall, a post, or a ceiling). Accordingly, the installation apparatus may include a housing, a mount, and an elongated handle. During use, the mount may be configured to be affixed to the elevated support surface. Additionally, the elongated handle may be configured to selectively couple to the housing enabling a user to lift the housing to the mount on the elevated support surface. Subsequent to the user lifting the housing to the mount, the housing may be configured to selectively couple to the housing, securing the housing to the mount.

Connector assemblies for computing devices

Connection assemblies are disclosed herein for use with a computing device. In some examples, the connection assembly includes a collar that is rotatably disposed about a first connector and is transitionable between a first position and a second position. When the collar is in the first position, shoulders of a second connector coupled to the first connector interfere with corresponding shoulders within the collar to prevent withdrawal of the second connector from the first connector. When the collar is in the second position, the shoulders of the second connector are misaligned with the corresponding shoulders within the collar so that the second connector is freely removable from the first connector.

Low-profile manipulator interface system

The present disclosure relates to a low mass system for releasably securing a robotic arm to a spacecraft and also securing various payloads to the robotic arm and to each other, permitting the robotic arm to be both moved from one location to another suitably equipped location on a spacecraft to another and to allow the free end of the robotic arm to be secured to any payload also similarly equipped such that this payload may be manipulated by the robotic arm.
