20230050110 · 2023-02-16 ·

Techniques are provided for informing a network of a timing source outage in a node and reestablishing a synchronized time in the node. An example method for providing a timing source outage notification includes detecting an outage of a timing source, determining one or more impacted nodes, generating one or more notification messages based at least in part on a communication context for each of the one or more impacted nodes, and transmitting the one or more notification messages.

The present disclosure proposes various methods for improving coverage. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, when an unavailable resource exists in a resource set configured for repeated transmission of a physical uplink channel, the UE may determine a resource capable of actually performing repeated transmission of a physical uplink channel within the resource set. According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, when the terminal receives the TPC command within the resource corresponding to the DMRS bundle, the terminal may perform power control based on the TPC command after the resource.

Methods And Apparatus Of Timing Handling For Integration Of Terrestrial Network And Non-Terrestrial network Communications
20230049998 · 2023-02-16 ·

The present disclosure proposes schemes, techniques, designs and methods pertaining to timing handling for integration of terrestrial network (TN) and non-terrestrial network (NTN) communications. Communications between a user equipment (UE) and a TN node and communications between the UE and an NTN node are established. The UE compensates for a first propagation delay in the communications between the UE and the NTN node, and the UE is able to obtain a second propagation delay between the UE and the NTN node.

20230047260 · 2023-02-16 ·

This document discloses a solution for synchronizing a terminal device to a network clock. According to an aspect, a method comprises as performed by the terminal device: receiving a control message from at least one access node, the control message comprising a first clock value indicating a transmission time of the control message; determining a geographical location of the terminal device and a geographical location of the at least one access node; computing, on the basis of the geographical locations of the terminal device and the at least one access node and further on the basis of the first clock value transmission time of the control message, a second clock value indicating a reception time of the control message at the terminal device; and updating a clock of the terminal device by using the second clock value.

INFORMATION INDICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Provided are an information indication method and apparatus, a device and a storage medium. The information indication method includes: dividing beam identifier (ID) information into first beam ID information and second beam ID information according to a preset rule, where the first beam ID information and the second beam ID information are used for instructing a second node to obtain the beam ID information based on the preset rule; carrying the first beam ID information on a first resource and transmitting the first beam ID information to the second node; and carrying the second beam ID information on a second resource and transmitting the second beam ID information to the second node.

Apparatus, Method, and Computer Program

An apparatus including: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: select reference neighbouring cells among a plurality of neighbouring cells of a serving cell, wherein the reference neighboring cells have a same numerology and synchronization signal block burst patterns overlapping in time and with a same periodicity; determine a measurement gap configuration allowing at least one terminal served by the serving cell to measure at least one synchronisation signal block from at least one of the reference neighbouring cells; and provide, to the at least one terminal, the measurement gap configuration.

PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION HANDLING BETWEEN RADIO ACCESS NETWORK NODES

There is provided mechanisms for performance degradation handling between a first radio access network node that operates in a first frequency band and provides network access for subscribers of a first mobile network operator and a second radio access network node that operates in a second frequency band and provides network access for subscribers of a second mobile network operator. A method is performed by the first radio access network node. The method comprises identifying performance degradation impacting the network access for the subscribers of the first mobile network operator. The performance degradation is identified as originating from a particular direction relative the first radio access network node and as caused by the second radio access network node. The method comprises providing, towards the second radio access network node, an indication of the performance degradation. The indication specifies the particular direction and identifies the second radio access network node as causing the performance degradation.
