Method and system for connectivity diagnostics in communication systems
Described is a method and system for connectivity diagnostics in communication systems. The method comprises: querying a first communication device at a first time and a second time to determine whether a second communication device is connected to the first communication device and to determine a value of an operational parameter at the first and second times; and determining the second communication device disconnected from the first communication device based on detecting the second communication device was connected to the first communication device at both the first time and the second time, and detecting the value of the operational parameter at the second time is inside a range of threshold values. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a link is unstable for connectivity based on connection duration, number and/or pattern of connection and/or disconnection events, and/or traffic activity during connection and/or disconnection events.
AUTOMATICALLY DETECTING AN ERROR IN A COMMUNICATION AND AUTOMATICALLY DETERMINING A SOURCE OF THE ERROR
A device may monitor a communication between network devices for an error associated with the communication. The device may detect the error associated with the communication between the network devices. The device may perform a comparison of an error metric and a threshold error metric. The error metric may be associated with the error. The device may determine whether the comparison indicates that the error metric satisfies the threshold error metric. The device may identify a source of the error using a loopback test based on determining whether the comparison indicates that the error metric satisfies the threshold error metric. The device may provide error source information based on identifying the source of the error. The error source information may identify the source of the error.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ADAPTIVE DISCOVERY OF LICENSED-SHARED-ACCESS SYSTEM INTERFERENCE
A method and apparatus are described for adaptive interference discovery of a licensed shared access (LSA) system. The method includes: an LSA controller selects a measurement node according to interference protection information of an LSA licensed system; the LSA controller sends a measurement configuration message to the measurement node; and the LSA controller receives a measurement response message returned by the measurement node and determines whether to perform LSA spectrum resource reconfiguration according to the measurement response message.
Methods and apparatus to execute a workload in an edge environment
Methods and apparatus to execute a workload in an edge environment are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a node scheduler to accept a task from a workload scheduler, the task including a description of a workload and tokens, a workload executor to execute the workload, the node scheduler to access a result of execution of the workload and provide the result to the workload scheduler, and a controller to access the tokens and distribute at least one of the tokens to at least one provider, the provider to provide a resource to the apparatus to execute the workload.

SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORK LIFECYCLE TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT
A device in an evolved packet core (EPC) which includes a processor and a memory. The processor effectuates operations including receiving from one or more devices residing within a customer premise equipment (CPE) portion of a telecommunications network, sensor data associated with one or more customers and in response to receiving the sensor data, generating a data request for an ecosystem status for the CPE portion of the telecommunications network. The processor further effectuates operations including obtaining customer information for the one or more customers and creating an analytics environment, using the customer information, for the one or more customers. The processor further effectuates operations including performing, within the analytics environment, analytics on the sensor data to determine a state of the CPE portion of the telecommunications network for the one or more customers and in response to performing analytics on the sensor data, optimizing the telecommunications network.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING DYNAMIC, PRIORITIZED SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT AND UTILIZATION
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing dynamic, prioritized spectrum utilization management. The system includes at least one monitoring sensor, at least one data analysis engine, at least one application, a semantic engine, a programmable rules and policy editor, a tip and cue server, and/or a control panel. The tip and cue server is operable utilize the environmental awareness from the data processed by the at least one data analysis engine in combination with additional information to create actionable data.
Shifting network traffic from a network device
A traffic shifting system is described to shift traffic away from one or more network devices or interfaces. The system ensures that traffic can be safely shifted off of a network device before the shifting occurs. The method is described as broken into several phases, such as a discovery phase, a pre-check phase, a shifting phase, and a post-shift phase. Before shifting occurs, the discovery phase is used to obtain network topology and configuration information. In the pre-check phase, that information is interrogated so that a shifting can be performed without negatively impacting the network. If the pre-check phase is passed, then the network shifting can occur through adjustment of configuration parameters, such as a cost parameter associated with an interface on any devices for which traffic is being shifted. Finally, in the post-shift phase, checks are performed to ensure traffic is shifting away from the network device.
Communication system and method for integrating a data distribution service into a time sensitive network
A method in a communication network includes determining a transmission schedule for a plurality of data sources. The transmission schedule is configured to meet communication requirements of both time-sensitive traffic and non-time-sensitive traffic of the plurality of data sources. The method may also include transmitting data according to the determined schedule by shaping the time-sensitive traffic and the non-time-sensitive traffic at the plurality of data sources according to the determined schedule and receiving a communication change command. The method may further include determining a new transmission schedule for the plurality of data sources, the new transmission schedule being configured to meet the communication requirements of both the time-sensitive traffic and the non-time-sensitive traffic in the changed communication network. The method may further include transmitting data according to the new transmission schedule.
Selective retransmission for vehicle-to-everything communications
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a warning message comprising a first indication of a priority of the warning message and a second indication that identifies an event. The UE may transmit a repetition of the warning message based at least in part on the first indication. Numerous other aspects are described.
