The present invention relates to a method for solubilisation or hydrolysis of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) with an enzyme blend and an enzyme composition for solubilization of Municipal Solid Waste (MSVV), the enzyme composition comprising a cellulolytic background composition and a protease, lipase and/or beta-glucanase.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING A LIQUID FOOD PRODUCT AND LIQUID FOOD PRODUCT OBTAINED THEREOF
A process for preparing a liquid food product comprising obtaining an oat flour by milling peeled oat grain; mixing the oat flour with water to obtain mixture B; adding at least one glycosidase and heating to a maximum of 80 C., obtaining mixture C comprising a liquid portion containing particles in suspension and a precipitating portion; lowering the temperature of mixture C to a maximum of 30 C. and adding a combination of at least a protease, a deamidase and a transglutaminase to obtain mixture D; incubating mixture D; and separation of the liquid portion and the precipitating portion of mixture D; or separation of the liquid portion and the precipitating portion of mixture C; lowering the temperature of the liquid portion to a maximum of 2 C. and adding at least a protease, a deamidase and a transglutaminase to obtain liquid portion D; and incubating liquid portion D.
COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR CO-ADMINISTRATION WITH A GROWTH PROMOTANT
Embodiments of a composition comprising silica, mineral clay, mannans, or any combination thereof are disclosed. The composition may further comprise glucan. The composition is administered to an animal that will be administered, or has been administered, a growth promotant. The growth promotant may be a -agonist, antibiotic, steroid or hormone. The composition is fed to the animal for a period of time before administration of the growth promotant, during administration of the growth promotant, and/or after administration of the growth promotant. Administration of the composition to the animal ameliorates, or prevents development of, at least one deleterious symptom or sign, such as a deleterious symptom or sign potentially associated with administration of the growth promotant. Embodiments of a composition comprising (i) a growth promotant and (ii) glucan, silica, mineral clay, mannans, or any combination thereof also are disclosed.
GLUCANASES, NUCLEIC ACIDS ENCODING THEM AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THEM
The invention relates to polypeptides having glucanase, e.g., endoglucanase, mannanase, xylanase activity or a combination of these activities, and polynucleotides encoding them. In one aspect, the glucanase activity is an endoglucanase activity (e.g., endo-1,4-beta-D-glucan 4-glucano hydrolase activity) and comprises hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-D-glycosidic linkages in cellulose, cellulose derivatives (e.g., carboxy methyl cellulose and hydroxy ethyl cellulose) lichenin, beta-1,4 bonds in mixed beta-1,3 glucans, such as cereal beta-D-glucans or xyloglucans and other plant material containing cellulosic parts. In addition, methods of designing new enzymes and methods of use thereof are also provided. In alternative aspects, the new glucanases e.g., endoglucanases, mannanases, xylanases have increased activity and stability, including thermotolerance or thermostability, at increased or decreased pHs and temperatures.
METHOD OF PREPARING CEREAL EXTRACT
The invention relates to a method of preparing a wort from cereals, comprising the steps of: providing a grist comprising non-malted cereals; preparing a mixture by contacting the grist with water and with an alpha-amylase, a protease and a filtration aid enzyme, to yield a mash after incubation; incubating said mixture at 45-55 C. for a period of 10-30 minutes, at 60-70 C. for a period of 20-40 minutes and at 80-90 C. for a period of 5-15 minutes; filtering the mash to obtain a liquid wort; and collecting the wort.

The present invention relates to processes for producing fermentation products from starch-containing material, wherein an alpha-amylase and a thermostable endoglucanase is present and/or added during liquefaction. The invention also relates to compositions suitable for use in processes of the invention.
NOVEL B-1,6-ENDOGLUCANASE PRODUCING GENTIOBIOSE OR GLUCOSE FROM B-GLUCAN
The present invention relates to a novel -1,6-endoglucanase producing gentiobiose or glucose from -glucan, and more specifically, the present invention provides an effect of producing gentiobiose or glucose at high yield through -1,6-endoglucanase showing -1,6-endoglucanase activity on -glucan.
METHOD TO IMPROVE THE NUTRITIONAL QUALITY OF FERMENTATION BY-PRODUCTS
The present disclosure relates to methods for improving the nutritional quality of fermentation by-products derived from starch-containing material, wherein the fermentation step is carried out in the presence of a first enzyme composition comprising at least one hemicellulase, and wherein the process comprises further the steps of i) subjecting the fermented mash after the fermentation to a second enzyme composition comprising a beta-1,3 glucanase and a xylanase, ii) separating the desired fermentation product by distillation.
Processes for producing fermentation products
The present invention relates to processes for producing fermentation products from starch-containing material, wherein an alpha-amylase and a thermostable endoglucanase is present and/or added during liquefaction. The invention also relates to compositions suitable for use in processes of the invention.
