A reverse coffee extraction device according to an embodiment includes a pump configured to pump water upwards; and a brewing container installed above the pump to extract coffee, wherein the water pumped upwards is delivered to the brewing container and moves upwards, and the coffee in the brewing container is brewed and extracted to an outside while the water supplied down moves up.
PORTABLE COFFEE BREWING SYSTEM
A portable coffee brewing system includes a container, a lid assembly, a pump positioned within a hollow interior of lid assemble, a basket configured to hold an amount of coffee grounds and a tube fluidically connecting the pump to the basket. The lid assembly is connected adjacent the upper end of the container. The tube has an upper end of the tube fluidically connected to the pump and a lower end fluidically connected to the basket. When activated, the pump moves fluid via the tube to cause liquid in the hollow interior of the container to be moved through the amount of coffee grounds in the hollow interior of the basket thereby brewing coffee.
SINGLE-SERVE FORMED SOLUBLE COFFEE PRODUCT
A method for forming a dissolvable thermally reduced, solidified and dehydrated coffee is disclosed. The method may comprise the steps of freezing a liquid coffee concentrate and thermally reducing, solidifying and dehydrating the frozen liquid coffee concentrate until a hard outer crust is formed which may have a hardness greater than or equal to an interior portion of the thermally reduced, solidified and dehydrated coffee.

A coffee maker includes an extractor configured to receive ground coffee and water and to extract coffee from the ground coffee, and a dispenser configured to supply water to the ground coffee in the extractor. The dispenser includes an arm that is rotatably disposed vertically above an inlet of the extractor and includes a nozzle configured to supply water to the ground coffee in the extractor, a first actuator configured to rotatably support the arm and to rotate the arm about a center of the inlet along an edge of the inlet, and a second actuator connected to the arm and configured to rotate the arm relative to the first actuator.

Passive metering for pour-over coffee brewing
In pour-over brewing, a vessel containing water can be suspended over a brew basket so that the water can drain, under gravity, into the brew basket and onto the coffee, and the water level in the brew basket is used to regulate the flow of water from the vessel. A vessel that is closed, other than the mouth thereof, and containing brew-heated water, is suspended over the brew basket so that the water can drain from the mouth of the vessel into the brew basket and into the ground coffee to brew liquid coffee, which drains into a container. Rising of the water in the brew basket causes interruption of drainage of the water from the mouth of the vessel into the brew basket, and lowering of the water in the brew basket causes resumption of drainage of the water from the mouth of the vessel into the brew basket.

A machine for the preparation of tea includes a housing; a brewing container; a water permeable, refillable infusing sieve receivable within the brewing container and adapted to receive one or more tea bags, tea leaves, or tea powder; a water container or a tap water connection; a pump adapted to pump water; a heating system adapted to heat the brewing container or the water being pumped; a drain adapted to discharge prepared tea from the brewing container into a beverage container, and an electrically actuatable drain valve moveable from an open state to a closed state, wherein in the closed state the drain valve prevents the flow of tea therethrough; a water outlet adapted to deliver water to the brewing container; a control panel configured to receive tea preparation information; and a control unit configured to control the pump, the heating system, and the drain valve so that the amount of water, the water temperature, and the amount of time the water is in the brewing container can be adjusted in response to the tea preparation information.

When said brew basket body is in said retracted position, said brew basket body is arranged in sealing contact with an adjacent component of said beverage system.
